I can’t believe how ridiculous this is! This reminds me of King Canute commanding the tides. Can you imagine the scene with King Canute’s policy advisors getting together to write up a decree commanding the tides to stop?

Would they have put the amount of pork-barreling, log-rolling and other corrupt crap in their decree that our “legislators” do a regular basis?

The problem is the left is using mediocre science to scare people into giving up more of their money/power. I hope I can show that the science and logic behind it isn’t that strong.
