Even crippled by its corrupt government and moronic laws, China is still a rising power, not to mention they aren't fooled by this 'global warming' bull.. This is bad news folks. They are more likely to call in our debts with each passing year, at which point we might well end up like a prize bull with a ring through it's nose.

Crap and Trade = Lower GDP = Less Jobs
Maybe those whom own or have interest in businesses that will support this! Hey, Does'nt Al Gore have interest in some of those companies?

President Obama and other leaders backed historic new targets for tackling global warming last night in an agreement designed to pave the way for a world deal in the autumn.

For the first time, America and the other seven richest economies agreed to the goal of keeping the world’s average temperature from rising more than 2C (3.6F).

They also agreed to cut greenhouse gas emissions by 80 per cent by 2050 as they strove for a worldwide deal at Copenhagen in December.

This from this morning's Drudge Report.
(China, India, Russia noticably not present in the associated group hug picture).

Now let's get this deal strait. The goal for all this cap and trade crap (I don't know what they call it in other countries, except I'm sure that either the words "crap" or "American Folishness" is tacked to the end) is to keep the world temperature from rising another 2 degrees C. So we can assume that if the presen't slight cooling trend continues (global warming doesn't happen) then Cap and Trade was successful and well worth the trillions of dollars and the Cap and Trading will continue. If it turns out that it didn't work (temperatures once again start rising)....THEN WE MUST DO MORE.

I love these win-win scenarios for the lefty-loons.

Wake up America, the sky isn't falling. This isn't about saving the world. This is about controlling the world and those of us in it.

There has been no average global temperature increse in a decade but a lot of money has been spent to position a group of private companies to make big money off this when it's passed and the money trail leads to AlGore.

Ask yourself why atomic energy been downplayed when it is a safe, super-logical choice with it's technology already proven and available.?

Answer: It doesn't require Cap and Trade.

This is wanted by the cartel so as to level the playing field. The intention, openly visible by their actions, is create a better distribution of the world's assets. Why? Easier to control populations, easier to manipulate the global money supply, and less of a chance of a strong nation ,such as ours, to rebel.

They have pointmen, political figureheads if you will, that do their bidding. Whether that figurehead understands he's being manipulated for a particular cause does not matter, what matters is that the figurehead pushes the agenda forward. Politically they are currently exemplified by the Obama and Bush clans. The Obama faction pushes the socialization of a nation, which borrows from the banking cartel to fund the government, and the Bush faction pushes amnesty to further blur the borders which lead to eventual NAU integration. It doesn't matter whether it's called NAU or NAFTA, or whatever, what matters is that we become economically and ethnically integrated, it will provide the same outcome.

Please, see through veil.

Cap and Trade is a sham and purely political, otherwise Sen. Byrd would be totally in favor of it no matter whether coal burns black, white or green.

The same way he kept the unemployment rate from going above 8 percent.

I hope they remember to add a provision stating they won't allow volcanoes to erupt while negotiating this agreement.

I think the democraps / liberal scumbags must be masochistic. They enjoy knee-capping themselves and prostrating before foreign powers.

Meanwhile, the fascist in chief commits treason every single way he can possibly find to commit it.

I can't believe we're going to let this go on for 3.5 more years.

Since solar activity has been shown to regulate global overall temperatures more than any man-made carbon-emissions and such...

Just how are they going to regulate the amount of energy given off by the sun?

Lots of sunspots...a rise in overall temperatures, and mega aurora borealis and aurora australis.

Lack of sunspot activity, lor greatly lesser sunspot activity...and we get overall lower temperatures.

There are other events that control temperature...declination of the earth vis-a-vis the sun, apogee and perigee of the eliptic orbit of the earth in the solar system as it orbits the sun.

But none of this is mentioned most of the time. Instead we get the pap that carbon dioxide is a pollutant.

With "accepted science" like this, might as well resurrect the alchemists and wizards.

The hubris is sickening.

According to Drudge, Obama promises not to allow average temperatures to rise more than 2 degrees C.

(If someone already mentioned this, I apologize.)

btw, this is officially the end of the world. There is obviously nothing worth saving of the present system.

Ain't that just the utmost in arrogance? Not going to allow average temperatures to rise more than 2 degrees Celsius? I guess he hasn't realized that this is slightly above his pay grade.

I would respect India more had they simply said no. This entire cycle of making demands is hardly diplomatic, and Mr. Obama is driving wedges where he should not again.

Maverick Muse, you have to understand that India is playing a game here, just as China is. We ALL KNOW that the United States would never come close to doing half of "what needs to be done" according to the enviro-nuts - not without seriously DAMAGING your economy AND in turn the global economy.

Remember a poorer America is actually going to make things worse for China's products and India's services sectors. The United States is now the biggest trading partner for both the countries - and it is going to stay that way for quite some time.

As far as India is concerned IF WE EVER AGREED to any of these terms, we are basically committing national suicide. Our power requirements are met mostly by coal - we are now trying to get more civilian nuclear power (based on the agreement signed with Bush Admn in 2007)

India could very easily point out that we are actually trying to do something to curb greenhouse gas emissions by taking to nuclear power - some thing that the US does not want to do it for itself, thanks Pelosi, Obama, Reid and your anti nuclear ayatollahs Markey and Waxman.

Basically India and China are jointly giving THE EXCUSE that the US needs to step out of this dumb and insane asylum idea.

IF Obama and the Dumbocrats HAVE ANY BRAINS left, they will take this excuse and run away from the agreement - and instead agree to some laughably feeble reductions that is bound to happen any ways as technology gets better.

Then again as we all know Obama is a fracking Alynskite - for God's sakes we have a commie for President.

As an Indian, i will pray for the USA - only God can save you from this madness.
