How do we start a recall election, We did it once , we can do it again!
We need some one that has the mechanism in place, all we need to do is to plug into it.
start the recall ball now, add MORE pressure, and even if they do pass it! recall each and every one.
RECALL NOW

Madame Speaker of the Assembly decided to sit out on an important meeting on the budget yesterday in a fit of pique.

She's the one who thinks that "right-wing talk show hosts" are terrorists and don't deserve First Amendment Rights.

Frankly I hope the rest of the Nation is watching and taking notes. Better a state collapse--even one as large as California--than the entire country.

Meanwhile, Hubs & I are sitting tight and hunkering down...

I don't know why CA is having this problem with the Budget. All those Liberal Millionaires in Hollywood, Bel Air, etc. (Nicholson, Cruise, Baldwin, etc.) should be taxed to the hills to make the state whole again.

What? You mean you don't like paying higher taxes? Imagine that?

.
Good Ideas, but remember the Honduran constitution states that anyone that "intends" to change the term limits of a president is immediatly guilty and to be deported. And what was Obama's stand?
Coup.
So great idea, but I am sure Obama has a Czar that can/will supersede the rule of law.

This is why the Legislature should meet for 90 days per year. Jesse Unruh's legacy of a "professional" legislature has left us with idiots who are dangerous when in session.

the Chinese are doing quite well in my state now. My youngest is at Stanford Summer school at the moment and at least 50% of the 400 kids in his unit are Asian.
My other son will attend a school in the University of California system in the Fall where more than 40% of the student body system wide is Asian.

Asians make up about 8% of the population + or -.

Through family values, hard work and dedication the Chinese of California got over the fact they had to pay more for gold at one point.

Real simple.

Throw the bums out, every one.

Pass a conditional line-item veto similar to the one in the Bill of Federalism. When the California Supreme Court rules it unconstitutional, amend the California Constitution AND impeach the whole bench on the grounds that destroying the state is a violation of their oaths of office.

I guess so, tballard, the legislators have the districts wrapped up and the people are too busy to notice the destruction.

JohninCa, they already are paying our bills: Medicare has been paying for illegal immigrant medical are since 2007.

<a href="http://health.dailynewscentral.com/content/view/732/0" rel="nofollow">Bush Announces Payments</a>

That's why I think both parties are guilty.

<blockquote>I dream of a day where these idiots will push the constituents to the point of getting rid of them. It’s scary to think what it would take to get to that point.

I live in the only district in Los Angeles that is Republican and that is only because of the Koreans who started moving here in the 90s! They are a law and order hard working demographic.

Well isn't this grand it looks like Redstate just banned me for posting Steve Pearce's immigration record. They are excited about him taking on the Dem in 2010 in NM. can you say RINO!

<blockquote>Redstate a very popular Republican blog just banned me for pointing out Steve Pearce's immigration record. They are all excited about him taking on the Democrat in 2010 in NM but I posted his immigration record on the blog and they struck it out and banned me. This is exactly what is wrong with the Republican Party. I labeled him as a RINO and that is all it took for them to ban me. Sorry I cant post the Redstate link as they have blocked my IP

Click here for 5 full quotes on Immigration OR background on Immigration.

* Supports path to legalization for illegal immigrants. (Aug 2008)
* Voted YES on building a fence along the Mexican border. (Sep 2006)
* Voted NO on reporting illegal aliens who receive hospital treatment. (May 2004)
* Rated 0% by FAIR, indicating a voting record loosening immigration. (Dec 2003)
* Rated 83% by USBC, indicating a sealed-border stance. (Dec 2006)

Now if Congress would just pass a resolution apologizing for Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882...

Heh, while I think this move is bs, I'm surprised they were even aware of how the Chinese were treated in the 19th century in this country.

<blockquote>

What I can’t figure out is why Obama is letting this big Democrat, union state flounder.

I love that he is doing it–don’t get me wrong–I just wonder why he is.

Obama's calculation is that California consistently and reliably votes not only Democrat but liberal Democrat. Look at Feinstein and Boxer as our two Senators. How about Waxman? How do you account for that? The truth of the matter is that the largely liberal population of LA and San Francisco, coupled with all the illegal immigrants who vote, overwhelm the dwindling number of conservatives in the rest of the state. Therefore, since California is so reliably liberal, no matter what happens, Obama can focus his political capital on things like restoring ousted socialist leaders in Central American banana republics. Simple, no?

How about just immediate termination. Period. Perhaps execution by firing squad? No less than they deserve for killing the golden goose that was California.
