I’ll be talking with Rob Breakenridge about Sarah Palin’s resignation for his CHQR listeners in Calgary on AM 770 at 9:05 CT.  Savvy strategy, career mistake, or too early to tell?  Be sure to listen in on the stream!

Savvy strategy, career mistake, or too early to tell?

Hmm…going on a Calgary radio show might indeed be a career mistake but its too early to tell. We will have to see how you do Ed in which case it may well turn out to be a Savvy Strategy.

Don’t forget to vote on the poll in the right sidebar about doing away with calf-roping at the Stampede based on the idea it’s “animal cruelty”

And, we care why?

Does this person have intimate, personal knowledge of Palin or merely channeling her? Calcary? Why not go to Mexico and ask what they think?

Save your time and energy, and ours. Only Palin knows and she’s not telling….good on her. But, it’s got your boxer’s in a twist now doesn’t it?

Hey, Ed! I didn’t know you could speak Canadian.

I’m listening live now @ 7:20 PST. Calgary is my hometown and Rob is well respected. Thank you Ed.

Ed, you minimized the legal bills, saying that the creation of the legal defense fund should solve that problem. Well, you know what happened? ANOTHER ethics complaint was filed about the existence of the fund. Thus far, they’ve managed to collect about a quarter of the half million dollars target. Oh, and that book deal? The “anklebiters” have made it clear that the day she sees a penny of money from it they’ll file a complaint about that. They’ll just keep filing the complaints for free, and there’s nothing she can do to stop them as long as she’s Governor.

So Sarah Shrugged.

I think you should be a fox news contributer Ed.

Do you normally watch Keith Olbermann? If so, then I can understand your statements.

After listening to the show, I’m reminded of two Palin rationales for her decision:

1) Goals she had hoped to accomplish in 4 years were handled in 2 years. See here for more detail.
2) The ridiculous, unrelenting attack on her & family is a drain on Alaskan and personal monetary resources and just an unconscionable waste of time to defend against.

I believe voters will see this in the future as a smarter move by Palin than Ed does now. She likely can accomplish little additional by remaining in office, and she and Alaska likely have much to lose if she remains Governor.

I look forward to her time “kicking tail” as a private citizen in the war against Obamadness.

Coulter on Palin’s resignation – a quick “must read.”

i’m not sure if that’s supposed to be a slam on ed, olby, or me, but the answer regardless is no, i try to avoid mslsd as a matter of routine …

Rob is a great guy who runs a terrific show. A staunch ‘free speecher’ who has supported Ezra Levant, Steyn etc through all their troubles. Small govt, anti-sharia, you name it.

I’d recommend folks listen to his show even when Ed’s not on. Live on the web. If you read HotAir you’ll feel right at home.
