In any company not owned by her family, she would be one of those divorced-mom administrative assistants with a tattoo around her ankle, a two-pack a day habit and a reputation for raunchy behavior at the company Christmas party.

This answer makes it pretty clear that Pelton had it right all along, and that his only mistake was to market Madame Weymouth’s new moneymaking scheme a little too aggressively.

Perhaps a few millions to the right Obama bag men will get WaPo a federal bailout.

Terrie in CA doesn’t like Kaiser Permanente, either. I left after my son, aged 9 at the time, experienced symptoms of testicular torsion, which is a time-sensitive emergency. When the Kaiser hospital staff could not determine the cause, I was told by member services, “Sorry, but there is nothing else we are going to do.” Not “can’t do,” but “won’t do.”

Kaiser can handle the basics more efficiently than socialized medicine, but they are not very good at specialized health issues and they will not refer patients to an outside specialist. I have a co-worker who developed advanced multiple myeloma, cancer of the bone marrow, while under Kaiser care. He was being treated for back pain and a simple myelogram would have diagnosed the disease and extended his life significantly. Now he probably will not live to see his young children reach double digits.

Exit question: Will violin cases come back into vogue?

This Obama critter has turned out to be nothing other than a typical ultra Liberal politician; full of himself, and one huge mass of dishonesty.

Even with his pledges to change government, Obama is following the tradition of his predecessors by offering some ambassadorships to top campaign backers, including four of the 12 nominations this week. The president acknowledged in a news conference in January that donors might get plum postings.

And that’s the problem, Jeff. Ogabe is counting on people becoming so used to the corruption that they just shrug their shoulders and stop caring about honest government.
Combine that with the paralyzing fear he is instilling in people and you have the makings of a multi-generational reich.

I really don’t understand what all the outrage is about. Considering the Obama administration has hijacked all three major TV network news shows, and the networks themselves are standing in line to do Obama infomercials. That news groups are making money pimping the Obama campaign from the beginning to the Oath Of Office. Regular public commercial corporations like PepsiCo are blatantly hawking their wares under the Obama banner, why would a lousy newspaper pimping itself out to lobbyists for influence peddling with the most corrupt administration in history be any kind of outrageous news scandal. It’s just business as usual at a division of ObamaCo.
