Friday will be forever remembered by me not as the day that Sarah resigned, but as the day that she threw down the gauntlet and began her national career of returning America to its roots.

Across the blog-o-sphere were cheers as people came to realize that the last remaining conservative leader cast off her shackles so she could continue her fight against political corruption, insider politics, and media bias.

The sound we all heard also resonated in the White House as they came to realize a real Americans just became free to fight against their America destroying politics, and cowardly socialist revolution.

Amongst those making that revolting noise were the beltway insiders on both sides of the isle, Congress, the faux independants, the weak kneed moderates, and the socialist media.

As they were gearing up to celebrade their day of Obama Dependance they heard the lone voice of conservative ideology tell the World that she was now free to take the fight to the next level …

and the sound of a collective crapping of the pants was heard.

Sarah 2012!

She is entering a phase of preparation, and shedding the vestiges of daily distractions.

Her efforts in the 2010 Congressional elections will be legendary.

First we will slay the evil Pelosi, and throw the incompetent Reid into the volcano. We need her to do these things first.

They will continue to quake in fear, and they will not know what direction she will strike next.

I continue to be very impressed. I will fight for her forever.

(Believe it or not, I don’t do any of the D&D game baloney, but the analogy seems appropriate. I think I’ll go watch ’300′ again.).

Palin can and will do whatever she wants, and if the same old lame ass pundits don’t like it, well, they can ram it up their asses, right?

Sarah Palin has appeal because she is NOT like the shysters with JDs that we are all used to. They talk in circles and they are “eloquent”. Palin makes a misstep and she’s a royal idiot. Preposterous. Sarah Palin has more balls in her pinky than all these lawyers combined.

So she’s stepping down. Good for her. GO SARACUDA. You do what your judgment decides is best.

Mr. Steele, what do you think of Mrs. Palin resigning?

Do you worry she’ll take her case, straight to the people, and bypass all you Rockefeller Republicans? Do you worry we send most of our donations directly to the conservatives that deserve our support and bypass the GOP?

We want you to fix the Republican primary bs…we want a fair fight amongst all the candidates and never do we want a McCain candidate, that sounds just like a Democrat forced down our throat.

We want you to purge those 8 Republicans that voted for cap and trade.

We want nothing of global warmning and unabashed support of getting the private sector moving.

On the flip side, here’s Ed Rollins — who was Huckabee’s campaign manager, remember — making a persuasive case for why this seems like a very, very strange way to launch a presidential bid.

Oh well then – if Ed Rollins says this is strange it must be.

The man should know – he ran the strangest campaign of my lifetime – for Ross Perot.

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin plans to remain extremely visible and will give serious consideration to running for president in 2012, but has made no decision, a close friend said after her startling announcement Friday that she will resign her office…

Those friends say she plans to give a series of paid speeches, and will also make free GOP appearances, raising money for the party and for issues. She also plans to help other candidates, collecting political IOUs for herself…

Friends said Palin brushes off hostile news coverage but feels that the ethics complaints in Alaska – accompanied by attacks in the legislature, and the relentless pounding she was taking at home – were taking a toll on her family and her state. So she believes the decision was selfless, the friends said.

Exactly what I am saying. We will see much more of the Cuda now. Mark my words, she will be all over the country helping Republicans take the House and Senate back in 2010.

After that……we will see.

We have to choose our battles. In the world of Cloward-Piven we HAVE to be wise enough to choose our battles. We can chase after piddles forever and the left will be thrilled to have us do so; they count on us doing so.

Palin saw she was banging her head against a wall so she left to do something else. That is a smart person. If we all don’t wise up and choose our battles wisely, invest our energies with vision, then this country is going down the crapper.

Don’t blame her for doing what you HAVE to do in a Cloward-Piven world. They count on the sheer bulk of the crap they throw at us to keep us chasing our tails. We can’t play into that.

If Palin is out for good, there’s going to be some very upset angry people. Not at her, at the SCUM that were attacking her kids. In addition, a lot of people are just plain fed up with this Obama crap. It’s looking more like just before one of those Ca. forest fires, and Obama just lit a cigarette.

I’m upset at her…don’t like quitters…stand and fight, and don’t give the left a victory…EVER!!!

I hope she never runs for anything again.

That’s actually why what Sarah did has given me new hope. I feel like she’s ready to cast off the dead weight. And that’s what it’ll take to turn this country around. Same old, same old isn’t working. The same popularity and coolness contest that turns decent people when they are elected into crooks after a few years is making drivel out of the people who call themselves our leaders.

Sarah gets it. She knows we’re tired of all this crap.

Tomorrow I’m going to hold a sign at my state capitol that says: “WHY AM I HERE? http://veritasbelt.blogspot.com ” On that page are the reasons why I’m protesting. It’s way too much to pack into one slogan.

But I feel like what I’m fighting for is packed into the words “Sarah Palin”. She gets it. She really gets it.

I don’t think she’ll wimp out on us. I think she’s sharpening the claws to do some damage to this lion America is trying to ride.

Happy 4th of July. Remember, the people in Iran and everywhere else, so, be thankful we still have, what we have. I’m smoking a pork shoulder (in it’s 8th hour now) for pulled pork tomorrow…wish ya’ll could come from some great fixins’ in Ft. Worth. First time it’s not a beef brisket, almost sacriligious here in Texas.

The economy, growing anger at the media and government in general, and Palin’s plain talk and personality pluses create an entirely different dynamic. I think this is less of a Hail-Mary than Perot’s run.

I don’t think the comparison is fair. Perot had the personality and charisma of a bean-counter. And I was a big fan of Perot.
