And I think it’s a terrible thing that the courts are instinctively prepared to strip a man of almost everything while giving way too much to the wife in a divorce. They’re still so medieval in that respect, most of the time. A man can be stripped of his children and most of his wealth for no reason other than his wife has lost interest in him, or doesn’t like his job (but still wants to benefit financially from his labor). I mean, either you’re strong and capable, or you’re a needy dependent. You can’t have it both ways.

But not Filipinas, Vietnamese chics, and most certainly NOT! Korean women.

In general, Chinese, Japanese and Thai babes are the best.

I think this is a result of Obama’s new economy. Just promote male irresonsiblity, laziness and drunkeness, by giving more tax dollars to working class females.

But I will say this. I just returned from a stint in New England. I was working on a political drive up there. I was absolutely astonished at the amount of lower class men, living off their girlfriends. They don’t do jackshit for work, sometimes going to Labor Ready for beer and cigarette money. But mostly they just get drunk and live off their girlfriend’s government subsidy check.

I think this is a result of Obama’s new economy. Just promote male irresonsiblity, laziness and drunkeness, by giving more tax dollars to working class females.

What if the man is not the primary bread winner for the family, and refuses to be.

What recourse does the wife have then?

American males, mostly white males, are just “Going Galt,” dropping out of politically correct relationships with snotty, increasingly overweight, money hungry, child support demanding, American females, and doing one of two things:

1. Finding themselves a nice Asian or Mexican women to marry.

2. Going off on a monthly sex-otic mini vacation with their buddies to the Phillipines, Thailand, Mexico, Brazil, or even Argentina.

Actually, I’ve been increasingly seeing a similar version of #2, whereby American men simply have a couple Asian chics as “on-the-web” girlfriends, who they visit with every day via webcam, and then a few times a year in person. I’ve got a lot of California buddies who seem to do this, with mostly Thai chics. Works out great for both parties, cause the Thai chics can’t stand Thai men, and just adore American guys. Plus, they’re faithful, and extremely sexy. When the American guys come for a visit they shower them with gifts.

Wake up American women: American men are “Going Galt,” in increasing numbers.

What is a man’s primary responsibility to his wife? If he fails to live up to that, does she have the right to fool around on him? Why should women get married? They can support themselves…they have choices these days.

Man’s primary responsibility to his wife: Be the main breadwinner for the household; secondary, protect the household from predators (criminals and wild animals).

The sex contract is as old as our species.

Also good on this subject, anything by Dr. Stephen Pinker, or Robert Wright’s “Evolutionary Psychology.”

I think this story is radically different than the other sex scandals we’ve seen.

Ah, OK – here we differ. The building of a team through sex as an expression of love, Eric. If these guys think they don’t need or want that, ever, then I do feel sorry for them. Sounds very much like what the gay movement in the 70’s and 80’s was all about, which is why I don’t understand why they’re all clamoring for the right to be married now. They wanted none of that bourgeois codswallop back then.

Ah, Eric, Eric, Eric. It really is quite true that (assuming the man lusts, which not all men do) this is the crux of the problem. You are allowed to hire people to clean your house and take care of errands and children, but the sex within a marriage is supposed to happen with the wife. If she isn’t putting out (and thus fulfilling her part of the marriage contract), then you are SOL, buddy.

I don’t want to argue the finer points of each type of Republican, but I think the problem ANY Republican will have is that as a party, we’re supposed to be the one with ethics and morals. So that leaves us more wide open to criticism when one of us are caught doing something we shouldn’t. The media being the lefty’s that the are will cry out for Republicans to “cut off their head” or be judged hypocrites.

But at what point does one say, “Let not perfection become the enemy of good”? That’s where the “ideals” come in. Human beings aren’t perfect. That doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be reprimanded for bad behavior, but a tar-and-feathering/being run out of the party is NOT appropriate, and is in fact wasteful of precious human resources. Besides, where does the Christian forgiveness disappear to when practicing all of this moral judgment?

Look at DeMint’s absolutely shameful calling for Sanford to sstep down the other day. I’ve lost all respect for Jim DeMint.

LOL! You might have to. Daily affection is a good place to start. If the pot’s already simmering, it’s a hell of a lot easier to bring it to a boil.

We don’t know what has been going on in their marriage. She may be the “VICTIM here” but more than likely, she is not 100% innocent with regards to their marital problems…not that that would excuse him…I’m just sayin’…

Is Allahpundit actually Allahpundette? I can’t pic a dad talking to a son, a grown son, saying something like this and it is interesting some of the responses from posters who I believe are women are natural woman to woman responses when talking about men.
