I don’t know what Mike Allen thought he was getting himself into here, but after this he’d be well advised not to go throwing stones at anyone else for coming off badly in interviews. The clip’s long but the first 3:45 is intro and can be safely skipped if you watched the MSNBC vid this morning. Enjoy.
Update (Ed): You can find John at his new gig at KGIL 1260 AM in Los Angeles. He has a cleaner version of the audio here, without the occasional hiccups.

I think Sarah’s bashing is a lot more about classism than about Sarah. There is a real dogfight going on against people who used to be viewed as “pocket-book Democrats.” They switched to GOP, and that means they are now the enemy. Populism is dangerous to this new classist WA insider group, including the new GOP.
It’ll be interesting to watch.

14 minutes of Mr. Ziegler’s yelling, screaming, shouting and rage is all I could take. Let the guy give a detailed, forensic answer will ya? I will try to listen to Mr. Ziegler’s show though and give him a 2nd chance.
Oh and my opinion on Gov’r Palin: She wasn’t ready, but the best Sen. McCain had on tap for the job. Better than the Wbots pushing Romney and better than Sen. Lieberman who’d split the GOP. The Gove of Love also had a point re: AIP and Todd Palin. I think she’s more in touch than the pros.

Thanks, Keemo.
I stop by irregularly, mainly for the links. HotAir is still one of the best, timeliest news aggregators for important (usually) issues; however, I pretty much camp out at Ace Of Spades HQ. My inner Howard Beale still needs its sounding board. Plus, the funny at Ace is top-notch. I can’t make it through a day these days without laughing at something.
But thanks again for the welcome back. Good to see you’re still in fine form.
PS – Palin for 2012, Ziegler for media management, and Allen for the trash heap.

No wonder the MSM is so in the tank for Democrats who never answer a staight forward question. The media types can’t give a staight answer either.Just how hard is it to say”yes”or “no”,and then explaining the reason?
I recall a recent interview with Coulter. The questioner asked her a question to which AC said”yes”.At that point the questioner said”answer the question”.AC pointed out that the answer is “yes”,and again was asked “will you answer the question”.
Just one example of Liberalism in media.Ask a Lib a question, you get three minute disertation on every subject except the one at hand.Ask a Con the same question you get “yes”or “no”,then an explanation ,if one is required.
I have noticed that even here at Hot Air,when I pose a question, someone will answer the question diectly, and unambiguosly.Someone else may disagree, but will do so forthrightly.

Is Allen stupid? I mean, he seems to completely NOT get everything in the interview. He doesn’t seem to be able to hold a coherent thought or answer basic questions. The only other conclusion is that he dropped a serious amount of drugs right before he got on the phone.
I can understand Zeigler getting frustrated. I was frustrated just listening. Talking with people who can’t hold logical thoughts is extremely aggravating.

It’s seriously sounds like John asks a question, then pushes play on a sound bite of Mike talking in which he answers some other question. It’s like he didn’t even hear the questions!
