I’m frankly amazed it happened this quickly, I just knew I (and probably my kids) would miss this. For those of you that think this will turn around in 2010, I hope you’re proven right. Being the student of history that I am, I seriously doubt it.

For all of you getting concealed-carry permits or buying guns that require you to register either yourself or your guns, the govt already has your information. They will be coming, and since they already know you are armed, they will be coming prepared.

For the rest, who managed to buy guns legally but out of govt oversight, continue to prepare. Stock up. Learn to garden. Get very friendly with as many neighbors as possible so you already have a local support network in place when the inevitable comes.

I fear you are correct. By using the ObamACORNS, Obama is aiming to have a defeat-proof socialist in place after the next election.

If we are honest, I think everyone knows where this freak show is going. If we are pragmatic, we are preparing and doing what little we can to mitigate the fall out. But – the part of you that must take risks and needs that adrenaline to make life worth living – has got to be a little drawn by the wonder of this time. Keep a diary. Someday, your grandkids are going to want to know what it was like to see freedom fall and you are going to want them to know even if you aren’t there to tell them.

Provocative comment. But like some others have said, the 2nd Amendment makes the story different here. The final outcome might be what you envision, but we ‘aint gonna go down easy. Yep, it will be a sight to see if/when it happens. Never owned a gun before in my life. But I do now.

I have my conceal carry permit and would rather die than live under a full blown fascist regime. I don’t accept ogabe as my president as he represents NOT ONE belief that I hold dear to my heart. I feel quite comfy calling what may come a revolution. I also feel very comfy holding my brand new AR15.

Just remember, conceal carry laws vary state by state; do NOT NOT NOT take your new guns and ammo across state lines – be careful and abide the laws of each state!!

Why don’t environmentalists oppose amnesty and illegal immigration? I did some napkin calculations today and calculated that the 20 million illegals require the output of 58 2.5 GW coal fired power plants to support their electricity needs. I didn’t determine how many million tons of CO2 that would result in.

Think about the amount of CO2 and methane created from 20m folks on a steady black bean, goat meat and hot pepper diet.
