Something must have changed since then. I remember reading about China cloud seeding for the Olympics and this story confirms they have the largest program.
All told we have 27 countries (24 plus Israel,Russia, China mentioned in preceding line) cloud seeding. Do they report this to some global weather agency so that it can be tracked and studied? And if so, where is that information and is it included in the GW debate?

Back in the forties and fifties, GE had a federal contract to study cloud seeding. I think the bottom line was that it either didn’t work or wasn’t cost effective.

India first started experimenting with cloud seeding in 1951 but has used the technology only sporadically, and has yet to draw up a national policy on its usage. China now has the world’s biggest cloud-seeding programme, followed by Russia and Israel, and at least 24 other countries are known to use the technology.

I just went out and purchased a number of items completely wrapped in plastic. In the process, I sent a whole bunch of carbon into the atmosphere. I have no intention of recycling ANYTHING I just purchased.
