Actually, “mignon” is the French word for “cute”, as applied to a man. For a woman, it should be spelled “mignonne” (the feminine form), but Clyburn wasn’t “sophisticated” enough to know that.

At my previous job, the VP was the trophy wife of the President, and he pretty much let her run the place. Her people skills were horrible…she thought she was such a good manager…but when you have turn over like they do, you have to start looking in the mirror.

Why is anyone surprised? This liar is taking part in everything he admonished the Washington elite for in his campaign.

I came to this great country in 1997, I’m still learning :)

Maybe I romanticize things, but American presidents (left and right) were always these amazing leaders, trying to make the world a little bit better. Somehow Obama doesn’t fall into this category and it’s heartbreaking :)

My point was that, though I didn’t support her views, I respected her out of a solidarity to someone of my own gender.
