Why is everyone so down on Boehner? Have you listened to his speech on the floor of the house? How many of you could digest a 300 page monstrosity (cap ‘n trade amendment) dumped on you at 3:00 in the morning, and turn around the next day and summarize its most egregious points?

I thought he did a pretty good job rounding everyone up to vote against porkulus. The idiot 8 (okay, maybe Reichert needed to vote for CNT to get the fruits and nuts in Seattle to re-elect him) who sided with the democrats on this vote are using bad judgment in assuming their votes won’t count because it won’t pass the Senate. Boehner perhaps gave them a pass so he can put the screws to them when health care comes up for a vote.

Submitted for your approval, a preview of the line of attack Republicans far and wide will be using next year in the midterms distilled to three crystalline minutes.

I don’t approve since it’s coming from a Republican member of the Trillion $ club.

If this message works, which it won’t coming from the GOP, we’d be screwed having a liar like Boehner back in power.

Most confident, competent woman in a position of authority are wives and mothers too. So it’s hard to do it all, so few reach that peak.

Men are better, married with families. So are women. Dads with girls and women with boys learn a lot.

Don’t be late!!! I’m not looking for a messiah personally–I am looking for a grassroots tidal wave, coming from many, unexpected directions. As Obamanomics continues to put the hurt on the middle class and working poor, and as his inflationary policies continues to squeeze these constituencies into an ever tighter corner, I think we are going to see a popular explosion. The media thinks they’ve been doing Obama a favor by distorting the reality of what he’s doing. The people being hurt by his policies are not fooled, however, but their collective experience is being denied, airbrushed out by the media. They are being rendered invisible, or to put it another way, they are being buried alive. The time will come when they will begin to connect, and when they are given an opportunity to be heard, when they find their voice–well it’s like you said, get out of the way.

To reiterate my prediction, Obama will be lucky to be as popular as Mussolini was at the end of his term–that’s how bad it is going to get. And the sense of betrayal will be profound in some of these constituencies–all those black working mothers who bought the lie, hook, line and sinker? Mmm, mmm, chile–Obama will be on their bad side, too–not a good place to be. And the media will have abetted that betrayal by magnifying that lie, by not being a corrective lense. The tea parties are only the beginning splashes of tidal waves to come. Rock on, freeus!

I checked on the RNC’s web presence today, and it seems that their top priority is building a new web site!

Apparently the RNC is totally incapable of distinguishing between important and unimportant activities. If the RNC is too busy playing with keyboards to stand up and fight to protect the country, they are completely worthless.

If Michael Steele can’t turn this around within the next few months, that will be sufficient proof that he is the wrong man for the job.

If the RNC cannot clearly identify their core values and doggedly pursue them with the resources they already have, a new web site will do no good. The RNC must be able to tell everyone what they are doing, how each activity advances the core values, how YOU can support each activity, and why you should. Until the RNC gets its act together and has something meaningful to communicate, any attempt at communication will simply serve to portray the RNC as a shallow organization which doesn’t know what it wants. Until these deficiencies are resolved, there is no need for any RNC web site, and money spent on this will be wasted.

I sent the Chairman of the RNC a “what the hell are you doing and why do you deserve support” email through their content-free, worthless web site. I’m anxiously awaiting a reply.

Do they all talk double speak?

We may be more well informed, so it may be our job to demand representation that can stop this madness.

Have you ever heard of escalating violence? And have you ever been in any type of situation like a battered woman? It is real easy for people to stand back and judge. Far too easy. No sympathy huh? So I guess if it happened twice, because I believed him the first time that he would never do it again, then I am just so deserving of your compassionate conclusion?

Oh, and there are women in jail currently for killing their abusive husbands. Not to mention that whole “Thou shalt not kill” deal in the Ten Commandments.

Let me just enlighten you, there are many a woman, and many a child who are in situations not so easily, or quickly resolved. Some are poor women with children who have no family to turn to, and there are wealthy women with too much pride, and a lot of fear from powerful husbands and friends. Abusive men tend to alienate their wives from having friends, or attending church. It is not as if there are flashing billboards everywhere saying, “Come here if you are being abused”.

This whole Chris Brown deal in CA is not unusual either. He got off very lightly, but as Megyn Kelly said, abuse cases are still not punished as they should be. Drew Peterson comes to mind in having a spouse filing police reports. LOL! Good to hear your friend has not warped you! Thanks for coaching. We have spent the last ten years in club soccer, and ODP soccer. Coaches are way under paid, and over worked. Many have regular jobs on top of coaching and families. Thanks again for spending time with our greatest resources, our yutes!

McCain unleashed what we had been waiting for quite some time. (Insert many evil sounding snickers here, and one shout out to Steve Schmidt to dry up and blow away!) Like her or not, Hillary had a political power on display not many Conservative women in America had seen in quite some time. She was public. Everyone knew who she was, and what she believed. Juxtapose that with Sarah Palin. Different views of the world, but now she is public, and everyone knows who she is!

Yes, Democrat women and Conservative women have a lot in common. Even on the abortion issue we have a lot in common. The main departure is we would like for it to be a state issue, or reheard at the Supreme Court, whereas most Democrat women would like Roe v. Wade to stay as it is. But I have not spoken with a Democrat woman who is in favor of partial birth abortion. Not one. In addition, Democrat women feel very alienated by their party as well. We agree on educational issues, and how inner city schools issues must be addressed. Many of them even favor vouchers! Of course this is after it is explained how they work and the results of voucher educated children.

We need a fleet of Maggie Thatchers. Except for her dislike of soccer, or futbol as they say. My girls were horrified to here she did not like soccer! LOL! I am so glad I was alive during the Reagan-Thatcher era. I am also determined to bring it back come hell, or high water. Ooops, there goes the Irish-Scottish part of me! The Italian part says, if they will not come along peacefully, then we should make all those in Washington a fine pair of cement shoes. If they cannot walk on water with them on, well that is their problem. Some of them claimed they could make the seas recede! Insert eye rolling here!

Didn’t have to be all 8. The vote was 219-212. If only 4 had not voted for it, the bill would have been defeated 216-215.

Let’s be honest about this: that bill was going to pass the House one way or another. What those RINOs did was simply give cover to at least 4 Blue Dog Dems. Nice work d***heads.

I suppose however, their thinking went as follows: “Hmmm Pelosi needs a few more votes, well, SOMEONE’S going to get their back scratched and since it’s going to pass anyway, it might as well be me.”
