If the NRC is now completely gutless, where do we sign up for a new, third party?

The Independent party always seemed to me to be a little too goofy.

So let’s have a Party. How about the New American Party. Nobody could argue with the name. The platform: conservative, common sense.

If it was done right, I think it could attract some of the remaining Republican conservatives in the House and Senate (there must be at least two or three?).

Anybody want in?

This is going to be a long four years…

I’m sick of this percentage canard. It’s not about quantity of votes. It’s about the big ones he pushes, like shamnesty, campaign finance reform which infringes on the first amendment, and vetoing the Bush tax cuts. He drinks the global warming kool-aid like a champ, too.

He never condemned Wright until Wright dissed him at the Press Club; he never condemned Iran until DinnerJacket dissed him on the global stage.

It’s all me, me, me.

Agree, but I don’t think it would have made a bit of difference.

A Democrat President was pretty much inevitable and if you think he was a weak candidate, then just be glad that’s the last you’ll see of him.

Bammy won’t be a cipher candidate in 2012, he’ll be exposed in all his glorious corruption, extremism and incompetence.

I guess he figured that with the movement suddenly flagging and Khamenei blaming America anyway, he might as well extend his middle finger the whole way and give the kids in Tehran a morale boost. Or maybe he’s finally realizing that nothing he says (or, rather, doesn’t say) is going to make the mullahs more willing to negotiate

Or maybe the polls said Americans think he should say more. He stuck his finger up and the wind just happened to be blowing in that direction.
