They're not ethnic enough to have special representation in Congress.

I, for one, am glad that freak show is over.

When you have a great plumber who’s a child molester, all he’s remembered for is being a child molester.

<blockquote>When you have a great accountant who’s a child molester, all he’s remembered for is being a child molester.

When you have a great architect who’s a child molseter, all he’s remembered for is being a child molester.

Why shouldn’t the same aplpy to a great rock star?

I'm finding it hard to comment without breaking my own wish to not disrespect the dead*. I can understand why the huge coverage, because he did influence people worldwide.

What I'm having difficulty with is why the fawning and turn-news-stations-into-MTV (Michael Tele Vision) coverage and "updates" to tell viewers this or that relative is sad. I'm quite sure Neda's parents are sad, but I don't hear much wailing over their eviction or her father's forced scripted appearance on TV.

Honor him, fine. But let's get a little perspective here. One person who publicly admitted he likes to sleep with little boys and give them wine usurping a major country's uprising and subsequent mass massacre and arrests is a disgrace by any yardstick.

Uuuuffff this is certainly not the first episode of proof the world has been turned on its head.

*There are exceptions, e.g. Saddam, etc.

How many Top 10 hits did they have?

On the other hand, how many little boys did they molest?

Rest in piece, Michael. The little boys you won't be able to molest, sure will.

Well, I had something nasty typed here, but with due respect to the contribution to the art he gave thats all fine and nice but a moment of silence was not necessary. Other celebraties died this week and what about them?

I'll stand by Jeff from WI a few entries up. Jacko was a sick dude. If he didn't die this week he surely would have died on the tour. Now, what about all the tickets people bought? Maybe he knew he was dieing. His being so frail and so delicate, uh, no. Pitty party has been over. He had a doctor living there and a hospital within spitting distance for a reason. I appreciate his contribution to the world don't get me wrong, but he was screwed up upstairs and all the Liz Taylors didnt do squat but cover for his ass. Sounds like a President we seem to have right now too.
