If the people succeed, but I’m pesimistic. But even if they do succeed I don’t think the smothering religion is going away. The very nature of Islam is dominance.

This reminds me of the Spanish civil war… that ended with Franco and 50 years of totalitarianism. I don’t know why but hearing about the professor’s disappearance just reminded me of Stalin and Franco the most. If you kill the leaders of the opposition–which has been done before… people get too afraid to keep going.

I’m not sure this ends well at all.

One big difference is that WE know about it in real time. And the “Arab Street” knows about it too.

No one can legitimately claim that foreigners did this. They can say it is Western ideas and influence, no arguments, but that is a closed society, those reformers are native.

History will treat Bush alot better then today’s morons….

We are indeed living in a very dangerous time for America. We must recoil from this presidents road to our destruction. We must reset to re-establish the United Staes preposition to of life, liberty and the pursuit of property.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad got snubbed by at least 180 members of the Iranian parliament when they no-showed the newly re(s)elected President’s fab-oo celebration. The insult sent a message to Ahmadinejad and the mullahs that love him

If recent events are any indication 180 people are about to get tortured and it won’t be water-boarding, led on a leash by a woman or wearing dirty panties on your head. Basically it will be real torture—the removal of body parts.

This Mahmoud sure does know Obama. I do not doubt for second that this statement makes Obama think twice about the actions he has taken the past couple days. I am not implying Obama will change because of this statement, but merely Obama considers it in his thought process (as opposed to dismissing it outright).

Very insightful observation. Meanwhile, Obama dismisses outright all the facts of the field of economics. He is certainly capable of not taking other people’s ideas seriously.

Yea, that one had to leave a mark. It should dawn on Obama now that it doesn’t matter who is in office, or what kind of speech they give, or even what kind of “gift” they have they say or how much they try to appease them… in their eyes we’re still the meddler, the instigator, and the great satan. but it won’t.
