Might it not be a good thing for the American people to actually see that letter — especially since the SL is now bandying it about in a propaganda context?

Then we will probably be able to better judge for ourselves if there was “nothing wrong” in sending it.

It’s … acting as though such a letter is more important than the Iranian people speaking for themselves, that is the amateurish mistake.

Why should Obama respect the Iranian people speaking up for themselves? He doesn’t respect the American people speaking up for themselves.

He thinks he knows what’s best for us and is moving to institutionalize a socialist nanny state.

You can’t expect a promoter of soft tyranny to be completely unsympathetic towards those who govern with a hard tyranny. Or to have respect for average Joes or Janes of any country.

We should all hope and pray it is.

I lose sleep at night wondering how this fool will handle an even larger crisis. Given his current track record we should all be very afraid. VERY AFRAID.

The presidency is no place to learn on the fly. I wonder if BHO has even realized that yet?

How about the fact that once they received Barack HUSSEIN Obama’s Letter of Supplication, prior to the election, they knew that no matter what they did, like steal an election, it would not be critcized nor even acknowledge by the surrender-at-all-costs Obama (PBUH)(SWT)(SAW) Administration?

Bullsh!t. If this were true, then The Precedent would not have defended his “deer in the headlights” non-response by claiming that saying anything critical of the Iranian regime would legitimize that regime – an attempt at logic that no one with a brain can hear without breaking out laughing.

Face it, Ed, The Precedent is an enemy. Plain and simple. Until you realize that you will be unable to to make any sense of his actions.

As Khamenei’s response shows, it comes from an almost-blinding naiveté and a belief that the problem in US-Iranian relations is and has been the US, and not the radical Islamist extremists running Iran.

The Precedent’s desire to place every single problem at the US’ door is not due to naivete. Come on, Ed. The Precedent is anything but naive. He isn’t smart, in any way, but he’s also not naive. He’s stupid and and he’s an enemy. He will do or say anything to to embarrass, humiliate, or injure the US. That is all he wants to do – cut the US down to size … and destroy it. I don’t see why it is so difficult to see this. Every single thing he says or does exudes this notion.

It’s The Precedent or the US. That is the situation, today.

One more point, because I don’t think you understand what Obama meant by meddle. His point was that he didn’t want Khamanei to see him as meddling in Iran’s affairs. He made that perfectly clear. Obama wasn’t speaking about the protesters see us as meddling… they are crying out for us to meddle! I think perhaps you are just too invested in Obama to see him clearly in this matter.

What part of “they cannot be reasoned with” does Messiah not understand?

The part where it is understood that everybody includes the filthy liar in the White House too. I really think that Obama believes so highly in his skills as a negotiator he thinks he is the exception to the idea that the Iranian regime will never give up their nukes. In his mind, if he could get the Chicago street cleaners union to the same table with the city council what’s to stop him from cutting a deal with the Supreme Council to stop their nuclear program.

Jimmy Carter also suffered from this delusion about what he could accomplish with words alone.

That’s because he lives in an echo chamber. Somebody at that level of responsibilty needs to find and cultivate individuals he/she trusts to be the dissenting voice/devil’s advocate/whatever. Presidents usually find these people during the long careers they had prior to winning the presidency. Obama when from state senator/street thug to POTUS in four years during most of which he was voting present and campaigning.

Obama is thin-skinned, overly-sensitive to criticism (hence no teleprompter yesterday), and unwilling to hear any ideas but his own. He’s never developed the people skills necessary for leadership. We as a nation are suffering because of the emotional immaturity of the filthy liar in the White House.

Even the protestors tend to be leery of the US. They want this to be a grassroots self-sufficient movement. One of the things people in the Middle East tend to dislike about the US is that we meddle in all their affairs. This is a good time not to meddle.

Are you an Iranian in the streets of Tehran? Or have you some supernatural powers that you’re able to read their inner thoughts?

Me, I see signs written in English and Tweets from inside the grass-roots movement written in English.

Sorry … but it does seem to me there is evidence on the streets of Tehran to the contrary of your personal beliefs that sound like Obama talking points.

If he cares anything for the country or anything for the people of the Middle East he’ll step down like Chamberlain did. Is there a Churchill in the house?
