Just so we all understand Mirhossein Mousavi is not a representative of liberty in any form. it is also not liberty to get 4 hand picked lunatic candidates from which to vote for.

Yet another brilliant cartoon from Mr. Ramirez... I am impressed at his courage to point such things out as well as his creative imagination to make important things humorous.

And don’t forget how the fallen martyr mythos has led to a vast historical over rating of JFK, who basically performed well in Cuba...

Teacher in Tejas on June 23, 2009 at 3:15 PM

Actually, he didn't. He so badly mismanaged his first meetings with Nikita Khruschev that the Russians concluded he was an "overpush" and to begin the act of stationing nukes in Cuba. Kennedy's miscalculations led us closer than we have ever been to nuclear war. What would Kennedy have done if the Russians hadn't finally blinked? Obama seems destined to complete the process of taking us down that path with more of the "peace in our time" kinds of rhetoric that Kennedy used prior to the Crisis.

Your words are eloquent enough...especially pasted on a JDAM bomb pointed at a nuclear facility in Iran.

But, now that we care about Iranians again, would bombing them, be at cross purposes? Don't know.

Where is the cry for their suffering?
Who is going to speak for Neda , or the others that have been killed, trying to secure freedom ?
But poor one bucket of water on some dipsh*t that wants to kill an american and he has all the rights that are in the US Constitution.
Its Pathetic how silent obama has been.
Ya know , I have heard many blacks say that after the election they are "proud of america for the first time in their life" , Well for the first time in my live I am ashamed for America. Here we have a golden oppertunity to reach out to people struggling to be free and what does obummer do ? plays pocket pool.

I sure in the hell wish that some one a lot more eloquent then I , would pen a letter to the Iranian people and their government , reaching out to them and telling them that even though we have a pathetic nutless-wonder president who cannot/will not say “The American people are pulling and praying for the people of Iran , so their voices can be heard and that they can rejoin the community of the nations of the world and not be ignored because of their oppressive regime.”

To the Government of Iran, Let the voices of the people of Iran be heard.

Yeah, the White House Uh-Oh Squad is in full force let me tell ya!

A Hand-Wringing Kitty Genovese Momement in Presidential History

And I believe that killer (serial killer, too I think) is still alive and well in prison. Given the intrusion of 'progressive' ideology into our legal system, mentioning Ms. Genovese here in connection with Dear Leader seems to have come full circle somehow.

No joke. My job is to lead a team of people who write summaries. All you really need to know is how to write complete sentences.

Agreed, it was a little harsh. Love my Texas, unfortunately, my husband's job moved me away.
I would love to be sitting at my parent's dinner table, eating carnitas with mom's fresh homemade flour tortillas.

Though, I can’t help but feel as though we’ve brought this on ourselves. We won’t even set English as our official language, and many schools barely teach it to those who don’t have it as their first language, preferring instead to teach in Spanish.

Hell, a majority of Americans can hardly grasp it. Illiteracy and ignorance are the seeds of Socialism. Far better to teach the tots how to feel good about themselves, how monstrous America is, and how wonderful it is for the State to take care of them.

Teacher in Tejas on June 23, 2009 at 3:15 PM
I don’t think Jon meant to assasination of obama, he meant the assasination of this innocent young woman.

Oh, and it’s TEXAS not TEJAS. We still speak English in this country.

HornetSting on June 23, 2009 at 3:22 PM

I can see that Hornet, but the use of the term "assassination" to describe the death of this lovely young woman is not accurate.

She is not a pubic figure and she was MURDERED! Murdered in cold blood.

Reminds me of that old Chris Rock routine about Biggie Smalls, Martin Luther King, Tupac and the difference in their deaths.

I don’t think Jon meant to assasination of obama, he meant the assasination of this innocent young woman.

Oh, and it’s TEXAS not TEJAS. We still speak English in this country.

Funny thing is, I grew up in an area where there are almost no Hispanics, I speak a smatterinf of Spanish and I am a firm believer in English as the national language.

I have just always liked the sound of Tejas and enjoy using it. That is all.

Dang, tell us how you really feel, Hornet.

Though, I can’t help but feel as though we’ve brought this on ourselves. We won’t even set English as our official language, and many schools barely teach it to those who don’t have it as their first language, preferring instead to teach in Spanish.

I'm just a little punchy today, and funny, I'm half Mexican, but I am tired of seeing gangs tearing up Texas cities and illegal alien women popping out kids like a pez dispenser and WE have to pay for their medical and food for eighteen years.
Nothing against either one. Just a little angry. :)

That too, just like all those Bush Assasaination fantasies, spun over the last eight years were just free speech right?

They were free speech, but they were also treasonous, just not the kind we bother executing people over anymore.

Please don't twist my post into one in support of Obama. I just don't want him killed.

I have told them I intend to treat Obama and the office of the presidency with the same dignity and respect most of the left did for Bush.

I understand that sentiment, but I disagree with it. I think the office of the presidency deserves more respect than that. I think the people who did that are scum and would hate myself for emulating them.

But I do completely understand why someone would be tempted to.

If I'm ever attacked by an armed aggressor, I will pass on having someone nearby "bear witness" to my murder.

I'd much rather have someone with preferably something along the lines of a .45 ACP blow the head off the SOB.
