I know it’s uncool to care about spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc., but think for a moment about what’s cool and uncool, and how pop culture has been used to systematically destroy the pillars of Western Civilization.

It is a common belief that the primary purpose of language is communication. In reality, before any idea can be communicated to another person, one must first understand it. The true primary purpose of language is thinking.

If you are able to write “could of, would of, should of”, your thinking is fuzzy. The word “of” is a preposition, which literally means that it comes before another word. That’s not just a rule to which stuffy grammarians adhere; it is a logical necessity. The word “of” means nothing without another word after it.

It is no coincidence that identifiable groups that use sloppy language also have less education and earning power. But go ahead and equate me with the thugs of the Iranian theocracy. Earn a few more points denouncing me, and you might even get to eat lunch at the Cool Kids’ Table.

And say hi to the brothas who mock anyone who uses proper English, studies and does well in school, as “acting white”. Yeah, they’re cool, alright.

A general strike, with everyone **staying home** during the day, could be very powerful. The streets totally deserted and silent… at night, the skies ringing with the cry “God is great” from every rooftop, with candles flickering in every window.

The Army would be powerless.

I finally got into a Walmart in this out-of-the-way area and tried to get some additional .40 S&W. Nobody uses it up here. Soon after they had received their order and put it on the shelves it WAS ALL GONE. Hopefully, next week.

My basic 30-30 has gone out of sight, price wise.

The recent uptick in the exercise of 2nd admendment rights pretty much ensures a different response.

No problem. Please realize a security force is now in the works via americorp/acorn through congressional funding. Google Obama national security force. Legislation has recently passed that attached to the stimulus/2009 budget.

If said security force is formed and were to used, in some future circumstance, as an enforcement force by the present administration the outcome would certainly be different than the situation in Iran. The opposition’s only hope is that A. the strike is actually coordinated and works, B. Rafsanjani figures out how to flip enough of the religious leaders in Iran, and C. the Republican Guard stand by. After how quiet the streets have been the past few days, I’m really concerned that A., B., and C. might not occur. Even Rich Lowry made that point. For whatever reason, I’m really invested in the “good guys” winning this one.

Go with God, brave Iranian people.
