A tipster sent this in frustration over yet another example of new-media Obama hagiography, but this is less a salute to The One than a grand goof on his messianism and the outsized ambitions of agenda. The “hee hee, ha ha” line about halving the deficit should be proof enough. Anyway, good stuff. And even by JibJab standards, the animation’s fab.

Did I hear they debuted this at the dinner Obambi was at on Thursday? What was his reaction? I loved the ears fluttering in flight. You have to watch it a few times I think. I was focused on the words and missing good laughs.

Technically is very nice animation, but as far as being a acid-tipped, gut laughing satirical take on Obama…maybe a 4 on a scale of 1-10(best).
It could have been really good, it had potential; I was hoping for something great, but it looks like it was watered down by the either Jib or Jab (whichever is the “don’t-make-fun-of-the-Messiah” Obama fan) or they got a committee of ACORN apprentices to re-write the script.
Rule 1 in trying to be a political humorist: ALWAYS make fun of whoever is currently in power. Don’t try to make a half-baked joke and then fawn over the politician seconds later.

Funny. I saw this last night and was thinking they should have had him planting a Che flag in the last scene — that would be much more Barry’s style (‘cuz we know how he feels about the old Stars and Stripes).
This cartoon was okay, but the one JibJab did during the campaign was much funnier. I particularly liked the part where McCain runs a tank over Obama as the song says something about voters not wanting Obama (“this liberal wuss”) in command.

That video definitely had a mocking tone. I don’t think it was pro-Obama at all. As for the clip of him saying pirates, he gave a presser about the pirates back when it happened… They probably got his quote from there.

This may be a goof but “The Barack & Michelle Obama Paper Doll & Cut-Out Book” is not. I saw it this morning in Barnes and Nobles. And it doesn’t even have his daughters. I suppose they are saving them for the sequel.
