thanks for updates, all I have in my room is CNN World news, I’ve heard nothing except the riots and protests.
The weather is even cool here. Heading for Nuremberg tomorrow.
Knucklehead on June 20, 2009 at 8:45 AM
Hawaii, OMG, will pass on the news to the new conservatives on my ship. They are everywhere and converting really fast to our side
Knucklehead on June 20, 2009 at 8:47 AM
In other news
Obarfy swatted a fly when he was being interviewed by a member of the Acronymic Automatons (ABC, NBC, etc).
PETA got pissed that he killed the fly.

Word on the street is the healthcare bill, global warming bill, and i forget the other bill cause I’m tired — they are all losing steam in congress. So the far left can suck a fat one
blatantblue on June 20, 2009 at 8:48 AM
Thanks, logging off, will report the news at the bier garten lol
Knucklehead on June 20, 2009 at 8:53 AM
Take care. Don’t go down any weird alleys or talk to any peculiar men.
blatantblue on June 20, 2009 at 8:54 AM
Good morning, what’s with the Cynthia deal?
Cindy Munford on June 20, 2009 at 8:56 AM
If you check back later……
Hi Knucklehead, glad you having a good time!
Cindy Munford on June 20, 2009 at 8:57 AM
Mousavi didn’t go to the prayer meeting with Khamenei yesterday and it looks like he didn’t go to the Guardian Council meeting today…
Limerick on June 20, 2009 at 8:59 AM
Morning cindy. chucked you an email last night.
blatantblue on June 20, 2009 at 9:00 AM
Ballsy
blatantblue on June 20, 2009 at 9:00 AM
Limerick, did you just hear too? Reports of shots fired at a rally in Tehran
blatantblue on June 20, 2009 at 9:01 AM
I’ve just heard of the security buildup so far (BBC, Telegraph, JP, CNN). The JP keeps going blank on me this morning.
From the Telegraph their reporter said that taking photos is ‘very dangerous’ at the moment.
Limerick on June 20, 2009 at 9:04 AM
Nevermind…….it just got a red headline at BBC
Limerick on June 20, 2009 at 9:05 AM
Now, not everyone can tell a joke (my own dear mother, for instance, is renowned for starting with the punch line and working backwards). On the other hand, I couldn’t shake the feeling that Obambi was back in high school chem class whispering sotto voce jokes to a friend…cracking himself up at his own wittiness.
I listened as long as I could stand, but finally concluded that Obambi is neither genuine nor a funny person–and this is why this routine was so painful to watch. Oh, he’s got some good writers, but the funny words can’t hide the unfunny man. You’ve got to have gravitas and self-assurance to pull off self-deprecating humor. Like Bush. Obiwon is a petulant little prick. His attempts at self-deprecation all really end up as self-aggrandisement.
Funny that the first narcissist-in-chief turns out to be the first post-Baby Boomer president.
PD Quig on June 20, 2009 at 9:08 AM
Yea — another bloody day.
Oh well. Off to work, peace out Lim.
blatantblue on June 20, 2009 at 9:08 AM
Really, it seem like such a snooty name but it is indeed mine. On the Yahoo page it said shots fired in Tehran, but on TV they are saying no protest due to large police presence.
Cindy Munford on June 20, 2009 at 9:09 AM
What does a red headline indicate? Breaking news?
Cindy Munford on June 20, 2009 at 9:10 AM
Yes. Waiting now for update story (BBC is good at that)…
CNN> Tear gas fired
JP> Tehran University has been surrounded by riot police

I hope Knucklehead is right that the German people are changing their opinion about our President. Our American friend in Germany teaches an adult English class and she relays some of my thoughts about President Obama’s policies in some of their conversations and the class can’t understand why I don’t agree with with the President. She said her class was caught up on the “Hope and Change” thing just like people here.
yoda on June 20, 2009 at 9:20 AM
Several thousand students in central Iran are being surrounded by police. I hope this doesn’t get too ugly. Fox is reporting the young people are more determined than ever. Our prayers are with them as God knows our pres. is not.

Barack OBama he has come to save the day !
Gakkk !
William Amos on June 20, 2009 at 9:29 AM
I guess Hope and Change has been “exaggerated in translation”
HoustonRight on June 20, 2009 at 9:30 AM
Or “Lost in translation”.
yoda on June 20, 2009 at 9:32 AM
You know… I wish he’d have begun his Stand-Up Comedy career without taking the detour through the Presidency. He’s a charming and funny man. I think I like everything about him except his politics. His joke about Ahnald was great.
Sadly, I don’t care if the President is charming or funny… I care about the decisions that they make. :(
rahjr2k on June 20, 2009 at 9:33 AM
The only hope the protesters have is in sheer numbers. Like waves to wash away the police and militia. This is going to be ugly but I hope it is successful and that they never regret the fight.
Cindy Munford on June 20, 2009 at 9:35 AM
Was that really played at the event last night? It wasn’t included in the clip from C-Span. I’d hate to think that he would take credit for the pirate incident or any other things depicted. Disturbing, even for a joke.
Cindy Munford on June 20, 2009 at 9:40 AM
The way Bam was laughing at the jokes it was as if he was seeing them for the first time. Maybe he’s doing an audition to replace Letterman.
Kissmygrits on June 20, 2009 at 9:41 AM
No it was from Jobjab. The BBC picked it up. Thought it fitted in here.
William Amos on June 20, 2009 at 9:42 AM
That would be jibjab
William Amos on June 20, 2009 at 9:43 AM
Ugh, Allahpundit can we please get some kind of warning so we know what we’re getting into before we click?

It makes me physically ill to watch him and his sycophants. I can’t do it.
ctmom on June 20, 2009 at 10:40 AM
HAHAHAHAhave fun paying your taxes, idiots.
Jim Treacher on June 20, 2009 at 10:48 AM
LOL! Come on, you know who it is. Quick turn it off! I watched it, not even a little bit funny but he laughed most of the way through it.
Cindy Munford on June 20, 2009 at 10:54 AM
I watched all of a minute of this when it was a news break on Fox News. My first thought was, “Can this guy love himself any more?”. My second thought was, “His image is on my TV set EVERY SINGLE DAY.” Every single day he is in my living room. It’s been a few years since I read “1984″, but wasn’t “Big Brother” on the telescreens EVERY SECOND OF THE DAY? This is getting creepier by the day. I said before this clown may be the anti-Christ, which is good news as the anti-Christ will be defeated. Big Brother? I don’t know about that……..
adamsmith on June 20, 2009 at 11:19 AM
Obama is going to save the world by using his personal charm to placate the mullahs into forswearing nuclear weapons. Right.
So that he can pursue this little fantasy, he is willing to forfeit the hopes and lives of millions, and of course, eventually our own.
Unlike his predecessor, Obama is a coward who seeks shelter from trouble in fatal delusions. May the blood on his hands never wash off.

Dehumanizing an opponent makes it easier to guiltlessly destroy them. This tactic is used in most wars by all sides. In Ogabe’s case it’s remarkably easy to see traits of anti-Christ or Big Brother with little or no exaggeration. Whatever it takes to crush that nasty little bug, go for it.
SKYFOX on June 20, 2009 at 12:38 PM
His face was all you needed to see.

What I would love more than anything else is for those euros to realize how WRONG they were about Bush. I look forward to the day, God willing, that eyes are open to media bias and they will see just how horrible they were to Bush.
Hey, while we are on this, I was wondering: how, exactly, did Bush “shread” the constitution? I hear this a lot and figure it’s just liberal regurgitation but I still would like to know how to tell them the truth…without launching into “Well, Obama did this….” know what I mean?
Mommypundit on June 20, 2009 at 12:55 PM
But it said on the site that it was “played at a dinner for TV and Radio Journalists.” ??
Alana on June 20, 2009 at 1:47 PM
No, it looked like some genius/sadist put him on 3×5 cards. He glanced down at the podium literally every 3 seconds for twelve freaking minutes.
Tanya on June 20, 2009 at 1:56 PM
Wonder who was Obama’s speech writer for his monologue…it was pretty brutual.
Was surprised no Palin jokes made their way in.
