Those protestors in Iran know full well they could end up like those in Tienanmen Square, yet they persist at the risk of their lives. Some of them may remember Berlin in 1989, two years after a courageous President said “Tear Down This Wall”! Every one of those protestors in Iran has hundreds of times more courage than Obama ever had.

How about giving credit to those who replaced Saddam Hussein by Nouri al-Maliki in Iraq–American troops, David Petraeus, and oh, Heaven forbid, George W. Bush? Could those Iranian protestors be inspired by what happened on their western and eastern frontiers?

I live in the Chicago area (ugh, I know…), and I work in a restaurant.

Before the election, my co-workers were very gung-ho for Obama, about 90%/10%, pro-HopeyChangey. The guests that I overheard talking were a little more evenly split, about 60%/40%. The pro-Bambi comments were plentiful.

Now? Not so much. By 2012, only the true believers will still be on board the Messiah’s train. Most everyone with a bank account will awaken from their kool-aid induced stupor and wonder what the Hell they were thinking. It’s already happening… I’m seeing it right before my very eyes.

It will also be ugly when he leaves office and has to find some way to remain relevant when people are not so interested in him anymore.
