Hey, has anyone been able to determine yet if the 135 billion of US bonds found with the Asian guys in Italy are counterfeit or not? I wonder why it would take so long to determine something like that.

Beck is certainly an odd duck, but it is refreshing to see someone with his level of popularity who is willing to make fun of himself and who seems not to have an overinflated ego.

Also, Beck was warning of the current fiscal nightmare well ahead of anyone else with his big-assed megaphone.

Yeah Allah…this is kinda dumb. Beneath your skills actually.

A bit of hypocrisy from Michelle Ochimpy might get more hits.

“And these are issues that I care deeply about, especially when they affect America’s children,” she said.

Riiiiiiiight. Until your husband refuses to protect children who survive late term abortions.

“Obesity, diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure are all diet-related health issues that cost this country more than $120 billion each year,” she said.

Maybe I spoke too soon? The more babies that are left to die in trash bins means the less money we have to spend on sick people. So Ochimpy is really saving us money. Yaaaaaaaaaahhhhh!!!!

So NOW What’s Going on in Iran?

Ahmadi-Nezhad has left the country, for one thing. He’s gone off to meet with some of his Russian friends. Why? Who knows? Maybe he’s looking at rental properties. But no doubt the Iranians have been talking to the Russians and the Chinese about, uh, “crowd control.”…

It seems that tomorrow, Thursday, will be the first big showdown. The regime is massing two Revolutionary Guards divisions for an assault on the dissidents–something like twenty thousand soldiers from outside Tehran–and the Mousavi people don’t want to give them time to organize and prepare their attacks.

Beck covers more important stories than anyone else. That is strange coming from someone who is basically an entertainer. Why in the heck doesn’t someone else cover that bond story? That is enough money to really make a dent in things…

And the Inspector General that Obama flat out fired because he exposed the fraud and hypocrisy… That should be front page New York Times… yet the only one I’ve seen really get in depth is Glenn Beck.

And nobody else seems to care if ACORN ruins this country… only Beck. Of all people.

hillbillyjim on June 18, 2009 at 1:31 AM

Grey as a mouse,
Big as a house,
Nose like a snake,
I make the earth shake,
As I tramp through the grass;
Trees crack as I pass.
With horns in my mouth,
I walk in the South,
Flapping big ears.
Beyond count of years
I stump round and round,
Never lie on the ground,
Not even to die.
Oliphaunt am I,
Biggest of all,
Huge, old, and tall.
If ever you’d met me
You wouldn’t forget me.
If you never do,
You won’t think I’m true;
But old Oliphaunt am I,
And I never lie.

Sometimes Beck is sometimes a little too out there for my taste, but he is a fascinating current event. We’ll see how current and for how long. Right now I’m rooting for him.
