Inevitable: PETA miffed at Obama for swatting fly

Yes, they’re insane. Just be glad there are lefties still willing to criticize The One.
PETA is finally going after President Barack Obama for delivering capital punishment to a housefly on the White House grounds yesterday — a death that was caught on tape.
When asked for comment, here’s the statement PETA released:
“He isn’t the Buddha, he’s a human being and human beings have a long way to go before they think before they act.”
Our morning news shows, meanwhile, can’t get enough of the sweet, sweet flyswatting Obama fu. A tip of the hat to the ‘Busters for wading through hours of dreck to produce the polished turd you see below. In fairness, I think the cooing here is best explained not by lefty bias — although one can imagine the fun the nutroots would have had with Cowboy Chimpy ruthlessly dispatching an insect — but by the essential inanity of morning television and the need to fill three hours of airtime every day. Don’t you hate it when “serious” news outlets desperate for content try filling the vacuum with crap?
Andy Levy had the best reaction to Flygate on Twitter yesterday, actually: “After killing the fly, Obama promptly resurrected it.”

This was funny, until I thought about his future domination of ABC. This appearance of Obama on ABC without giving equal time to the RNC is outrageous. The results could be the morons of this country might actually believe his drivel about death care, and call Congress wanting it. This is Pravda pure and simple.
