The piece by this opinion whore is so chock full the arrogance of the faux nobility that I don’t know where to start…but, here goes:

…so…Hillary’s a more “natural” politician…rather like being a “natural” in another profession by being born with roller skates on your heels, but I’ve already used that profession as a jab once this posting….

…and, I thought that citizens were to run out government, not an artificially rendered proletarian ruling class…but, apparently Ms. Brown’s enamored of the hayseed nomenklatura that we’ve seen rise like mushrooms in the dark places where the media chooses not to go….

She might get somewhere in the long run if she would just go away in the short run and read some books.

…there ya go…I’d like to know jus’ what it is that Ms. Brown’s referring to here…or is it the usual side-swipe by someone who thinks that they’re so cool that their own fecal material doesn’t eminate odors…everybody who wasn’t at the last cocktail party’s a rube, is that it, Tina?

Her problem is that she thinks the popular culture is the culture.

She has no context, no knowledge of the world to offset her obsessive Nixonian flailings about how everyone is belittling her stature as the hardworking governor of Alaska.

…I say we begin retaliating by belittling the stature (and intellects, honesty, biases and grammar) of career media opinion whores. They go all “bunker mentality” so quickly, after all….

I think that I have the kernel at the heart of the mystery of why Gov. Palin is so viscerally hated by the perfumed ponces of the press: she’s a common citizen. She rushed off into public life, seeking whatever, and has made good. Her family isn’t perfect (whose is?), but is imperfect in a very human and not a “reality show” kind of way.

How dare such a person, unvetted by the cocktail party circuit, think that they can trespass on the sacred preserve of the Establishment (of which ol’ Tina Brown aspires to be a part)!

It isn’t that Ms. Brown (and the rest of the press) dislikes Gov. Palin. Ms. Brown and her scaberous ilk despise the people who inconveniently populate those barren, benighted spaces between her own digs and those of her class-comrades out in Malibu. We’re all “flyover people” the way that little black kiddies with bloated bellies and bare-breasted women with plates in their lips were once “National Geographic people”.

…we’re not only a different nationality from Ms. Brown and her coterie, we’re almost a different species. She writes looking down her long nose at us the way Oxford dons look down on the scum they peer at through microscopes….

…it’d be enough to make one want to crawl back into the culture dish and die…if it weren’t that Tina Brown and her friends were such morons….
