The Romans invented “Citizenship,” and it is a two-way contract. Each party, Citizen and State, has duties along with rights.

Armed foreign enemies pledged to cause us harm are not citizens. They have not accepted any of the duties of citizenship, and do not deserve any of the benefits of citizenship. You cannot have a “contract” if only one party agrees to it.

Anyone who thinks otherwise is in need of a remedial course on the basics of contracts, and they should be disqualified from working in any level of any government.

China is unpredictable, and for reasons of it’s own, would sooner step on Palau than us, for the moment. Palau’s support of Taiwan, rather than China, may come back to haunt them yet. In my own perverted way, I do have to admire the asian mind. It’s complicated, they never put all their cards on the table, and they’ll wait a thousand years for revenge. The Bam thinks he’s so far out ahead of everyone else. But he’s never had a good trouncing like he’s setting us up for…sadly, he’ll be tucked away with all the resources of his office and the Fed. Gobn’t to protect him. I’m thinking that lynchpin is North Korea. Pelosi, you need to practice duck and cover.

Ed, would you please call Kirsten Powers and explode the meme for her. She is under the delusion and has expressed publicly on Fox that the Uighurs were “caught up” in some sort of snare by the US and later found to be innocent because it has “happened to others you know”

Shepturd Smith shares her feelings. They seem to think the Uighurs were just part of a sightseeing tour group drinking in the beauty that is Tora Bora when the evil Americans snatched them without due process!!

Yeah, agreed, as in, I noticed the same things, with great annoyance. Kirstin Powers is not reliable and repeats that numbed down, stoned DNC/Obama propaganda with those empty dark eyes of hers, one wonders if she’s not an android.

Smith, I think all hopes are lost on him. He is into perpetual “desperate” mode like Olbermann, Fox’s peer-performance to the Keith Olbermann disaster.

I watch Fox, daily, lest anyone think I’m not a fan. It’s just that there are some strangely booby-fools from the Left that Fox employs and it’s a real struggle to wonder why.

Barry won’t let the detainees come into the U.S. through the front door. But the Uighers can sure try the back door once they become naturalized citizens of Bermuda. Barry has found a way to allow them in, without himself suffering any political fallout.

This is an example of why I love this site. My local newspaper; The St. Louis Post-Dispatch, never provides coverage that puts Barry in a bad light. If someone relied only on a similar local paper, they would never know of stuff like this.

The problem that Obama and his ilk have on this issue is a philosophical one. They simply don’t want to admit that these types of people could pose a serious threat because of the way we treat religious zealots in our country. They simply do not have any power or means to do anything. We’ve managed to marginalize any form of religion to the fringes of our society and Christians have allowed that to be done to them. Look at Huckabee, they media were saying “He’ll do great among Christians but that’s it”. He was never taken seriously. That fact that it was correct was secondary to the primary argument.

Since Christianity is the predominate religion in our country (and the main target of liberals in universities and the media) they simply don’t want to believe that another zealot from another religion could be just as bad or worse.

I don’t understand why we don’t just give these terrorists to the Chinese. The idea that we have to protect al Qaeda trained terrorists from China is offensive in the extreme.

How would we feel if China captured Bin Laden, then gave him to North Korea or something? We’d be justifiably furious. I’m certainly not a fan of China but in this case they are at least not terrorists, so why shouldn’t we hand terrorists over to them to deal with as they please?

Besides, it would be hilariously ironic to watch the “human rights” lefties melting down if China chose to publicly hang them or something. Of course the libbies would blame America. They always blame America. What else is new?

If Jugears wants to get the Chinese terrorists out of Guantanamo, why not let them move in with him and his ever-so-tolerant wife and two kids and mother-in-law? There are already guards around the house 24-7, and there’s plenty of guest rooms too. Save the country millions of dollars while doing his bit to “reach across the aisle” in understanding idiocy. Idiocy other than permeates his administration.
