What happened to this “World” that turned against us during the Bush years? The “World” that so criticized us for our moral failings, the “world” we constantly read about in the Letters to the Times & that mattered so much. Odd, but now that same “World” doesn’t come forward to act on their sentiments as expressed in our media. One would think the “World” would be jumping at the chance to take our abused prisoners.
Is it possible that this was all bull—-, foreign and home grown?

Amusing to see how Obama’s organizing his own “coalition of the willing” (Bermuda and Palau as charter members) and failing to consult with our traditional allies.

In this case though I’d have to think that it might not have been deliberate. It’s more likely that no one in Obama’s administration actually knew that Great Britain had any say over what went on in Bermuda. So far these folks don’t seem particularly knowledgeable about the world.

I am sure the British army has landed in Bermuda for the express purpose of building a GITMO east. They will now send all British detainees down to Burmuda with a platoon of troops. Burmuda is going OOPPPSSS….

Hawaii is part of the US, thus US soil, which is the major hurdle no one in the White House is willing to talk about. Once the detainees get to US soil, they are landed immigrants under our immigration laws, thus are afforded all the judicial rights of US citizens and US persons.
