And now we have The Precedent. Yep.

I did the same sort of thing. I swore, during the shamnesty fiasco, that I would never vote for McCain, but the sheer idiocy of the Dems in picking the idiot messiah just changed the whole equation.

But, even so, McCain still went out of his way to make a vote for him as painful as possible (with the sole exception of his choice of Palin). The minute he got up a couple of points, thanks to the Palin selection, he started proclaiming how his shamnesty would be his first push in office. There were just too many conservatives and fence-sitters who couldn’t stand that, and McCain knew it. He got some sort of sick thrill out of treating his supporters as hostages, which they were mostly were. Some just had enough and figured that the US was sunk, either way.

The US economy has already collapsed but being “too big to fail”, China and others are proping up our corpse in exchange for the US government selling off everything right out from under the citizens/true owners of corporations and industries as repayment. Once the world economies are sustainable, a one world government will be established with the US being nothing more than a third world source of cheap labor…..a leftists wet dream for our nation.

It was hard to pull the trigger, trust me. When McCain began dissing Bush’s policies in the middle of a war I was so outraged I sent him a personal letter. In no uncertain terms I told him how, as a RINO, he disgusted me and told him point blank if he ever ran for the office of president I would never vote for him (this was long before he started his stomach-churning performace as a republican candidate for president.) I said it, and I meant it.

Then Obama came along.

Exactly. Those “waiting for 2010″ don’t seem to realize that the GOP is sitting in their chairs sucking their thumbs right now. Leadership is gone, done, over. There are far too many things that the O could be indicted for right now if someone with some power would just do it.

I don’t know, maybe many of you say this because you are trying to keep yourselves from being as frustrated and dismayed as I am right now. I’ve got very little change left in my pocket and I have absolutely no hope.

I’m seeing an impeachment on the horizon.

Obama is just following the financial plan Soros gave him in exchange for the millions in campaign funds; Soros has done this before.

Sounds like a plot to a movie and as unbelievable as it is…I believe something similar to your analysis is very true. Obama IS the manchurian candidate and his ego won’t even let him diguise that fact.

Soros is a true enemy of America and that is precisely why the left champion him. Daily Kos and Move-on.org are no different than Al-Queda as far as I’m concerned.

I for one would welcome a $4500 “voucher” towards a new car. I’ve got a truck worth dirt, still runs though. And I’ve got a car we’re almost done paying off. Take the voucher for the truck, sell off the car, and I could get a nice new Mitsubishi Lancer, a Ford Focus, or heck even a Ford Mustang gets better MPG then a 39 yo truck.

Absolutely it’s a goal. By causing a complete systemic collapse, Obama can use the “crisis” to issue presidential orders and seize power on a scale that heretofore was unimaginable in the United States. Just look around – see what freedoms people will give up when the country is in crisis mode.

I believe Obama’s ultimate goal is dictatorial, and he has absolutely no intention of ever leaving the White House.

I think that’s the point. I think they know that if our current form of government lasts that long, there will be a conservative landslide in 2010. So they’ve got to execute their plans as fast as possible.

I’m beginning to wonder if crashing the dollar isn’t a goal of this regime.

Yes, and I understand your complaints with those who couldn’t hold their noses (as McCain’s own mother had said was going to be a necessity). My point was just that McCain went out of his way to make sure that our hands were tied behind our backs, while voting for him, so we couldn’t really hold our noses but had to breathe it all in, full and complete. I do understand some that decided to pass on the opportunity. They might have done differently, except that McCain, himself, kept reassuring them that it was no big deal if he lost, anyway. That part was what really, really, really drove me nuts.

No question about it. McCain had some awful ideas, adn shamnesty would have led to the dissolution of the US, all by itself, but the sort of destruction that BHO was going to bring (that all could see, if they had just opened their eyes, a bit) was incomparable.

But, hey, even our bloggers, here, were embarrassed to bring up the eligibility issue, (and still are!, along with the ‘hussein’ issue, as we just saw) and that sort of reluctance to deal with BHO in a realistic manner is why he won and has been able to pass all of the America-killing policy he’s been able to do. If conservative bloggers were worried about embarrassing the guy, we know what the rest feels about attacking (in a real way, as any other person would be subjected to) a Precedent.

Probably but I suspect I wouldn’t be all that happy with whatever McCain had done by this point in his administration either. He’s too much like the Democrats he seeks to emulate.

The message for 2010 and the GOP is “this madness must end” and the only way to do it is to revive the two party system in DC. Keep in mind with the exception of the stimulus bill in the Senate, Democrats have been doing all this stuff without a single GOP vote. This is Obama’s spending plan and he and his filthy party are the ones accountable for everything that is going on. November 2010 needs to be their judgement day.

Stop blaming conservatives because McCain was a loser who seems as if he was almost trying to throw the election.

I can’t blame the liberals for voting for a socialist/Marxist. He’s their ideal. I blame the ‘independents’ and the conservatives who voted for him.
I also blame the conservatives for ending up with McCain.

I don’t want to go there either but just how much more of this clearly bad decision making is the public supposed to endure without something happening? At the rate the Democrats are dismantling all the societal institutions and spending billions it doesn’t have, we may not have until 2010 to effect change. Certainly not violent overthrow but there could come a day when nationwide protests erupt over the bad stewarship of this incompetent President, corrupt advisors, and failed ideology.

They’re not paying attention. The media is telling them the worst is over and the economy is on the upswing. Obama saved us, and they’re busy patting themselves on the back for electing him. They don’t know that the price of gas is rising because the value of the dollar is falling. They think it’s just the oil-producing nations and/or the greedy oil companies gouging us again. And “helping” Europe will make them feel good. It’s “helping” right? How could that possibly be bad? Pass the bong, please.
