Why do we keep using the word “bias”?

The media were simply biased in the 80s. They are now fully corrupt. Breitbart says he finally realized they were part of the Democratic party. Rush even refers to them as the State Run Media.

You are right Faraway. It is becoming a state run media. That is if it wasn’t already so.

MSNBC would have to be shelved soon were it not for the billions in bailouts that GE has been getting (which is why i’m boycotting GM products as much as possible… Hard to do when you really think about it).

The Boston Globe and the NYT… going south really fast. That is of course until the government turns them into ‘non-profit entities’ and starts giving them public funds. “Non Profit Entity” my foot! And I’m Bob Marley!

CNN: That would be Time Warner. Not sure what they’re getting in terms of bailout funds… probably none.

Dedalus: you are flying too close to the “Sunny One” and your wax wings are about to melt. Seriously, get your nose out of O’s arse and get a grip on reality before your investments plummet to the earth. Gain a little wisdom and some objectivity and question EVERYTHING you know, hear, or see. Obama is all smoke and mirrors, and reality is like a segment from Dante’s Inferno.

Regarding the pecs–or lack thereof. I could care less what that buffoon looks like without his shirt on. I haven’t had any erotic dreams of him as some have apparently had. I’ve had absolute waking nightmares (called prophecies in some circles.) I’d like for the man to put his shirt on, get his nose out of his own shiny arse, and start doing what he swore to do: support and defend the Constitution and provide security for the US. So far the only thing he’s supported and defended is his right to plunge our children into debt for decades to come! For that I rebuke him and his policies.

Where are you going to find the objective reporters? You can’t go to the journalism schools, they are filled with sheeple following their lib professors around sniffing their crotches. You can’t find ‘good’ objective reporters already in the business because they’ve either been smart enough to hide their objectivity or they have been drummed out of the business.

Best to just let the print media die and be done with.

The MSM is the very definition of insanity – keep trying the same thing over and over again, hoping for different results. They obviously think if they keep reporting with a liberal bias, eventually people will start reading and watching, and they will become profitable.

You would think some media outlet other than Fox News would try a more objective approach and do the type of investigative reporting that is called for by these clowns in Washington and state-houses.

When 9/11 happened I worked for Clear Channel, at their corporate HQ. We had the live unedited feeds of reporters from all over the world (AP Reuters, you name it) playing via our systems. (Clear Channel has god knows how many radio stations). Interestingly the US MSM did not report all that was going down and their spin at times was incredible. If you really wanted to see what was going on, UniVision had better coverage.

It was then that I began to realize how screwed us the public were.

I don’t know about AP, but I’m fairly certain that Ed knows about the MSM/Has-been media/state-run media. His position here at Hot Air may require a certain amount of circumspection. Not every truth that Ed knows has to be spoken or written about. I think he’s entitled to keep some of his deepest feelings close to the vest. That is not dishonest. It may be wise.
