I’ve never been on this birth certificate train, but he raises a good point: Why does Obama spend who knows how much money fighting this issue when he could end it today with a phone call?

Don’t know what, but SOMETHING ain’t right in Denmark. It may not be his citizenship, but he’s hiding something he doesn’t want people to know about.

Rockefeller Republicans continued that. There was a move during the 70′s to have the State license plate have: Highest Taxed State in the Union put on it, unfortunately in a few years that would no longer be true as other States taxed their people more (which is hard to believe considering how NY State tries to consume money by retirees held outside of the State who once lived in the State and have since moved from the State… yes, they do try that). Thus the end result of a public works project from a prior century is, today, an entitled political class and high taxes. Due to NYC it still would have drifted to the Left, but it would be more like OH and PA.

I speak as an ex-resident from Western NY… if the climate doesn’t get you down, the taxes will. There is much sympathy from this ex-resident for what is going on there, but leaving when there was still double-digit unemployment when the rest of the Nation had recovered AND paying horrific taxes AND harsh climate was a non-starter, and for two of those the blame goes to decades of politicians in Albany. D and the D-Lite R party, plus their hangers-on affiliates in their ‘single issue party’ support sections. Remember that the two in question changing majority control switched sides, not ideologies.

While the New York “coup” may produce more verbose
soundbites, the big story is the Supreme Court putting a halt to an overzealous government that has stepped far beyond their boundries.

Ummmm… so the GOP gets control through the maneuverings of two people with criminal investigations in the works??? I’m not sure that sounds good.
