The Northern Alliance Radio Network will be on the air today, with our eight-hour-long broadcast schedule starting at 9 am CT. If you’re in the Twin Cities, you can hear us on AM 1280 The Patriot, or on the station’s Internet stream if you’re outside of the broadcast area.

Today, Mitch and I will talk about further developments in the Sonia Sotomayor nomination, Barack Obama’s Cairo speech, and Tim Pawlenty’s decision to stop at two terms. Plus, we’ll discuss what Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer and Harrison Ford have in common. Finally, we will bring you up to date on the curious outbreak of Romanov Disease in the White House and tell you if it leaves a czar — or several of them!

Be sure to call 651-289-4488 to join the conversation!

Mitch and I now live-stream our show from 1-3 pm CT on Ustream, complete with live chat! Be sure to register for free at Ustream to participate in our raucous live-chat sessions. (And if the log-in prompt doesn’t come up in the chat box below, use this link instead.)

It shouldn’t surprise anyone to find that the search engine “google” is paying homage to Tetris, of all things, on this

Good catch! Can’t believe it slipped my mind. Almost as disgusting as their Memorial Day Shenanigans. Anybody got a decent google alternative?

Just to let you know, Microsoft’s new search engine “Bing” has a D-D theme today. Not only that, it’s a really good search engine. Perhaps we should all boycott Google.

You must like to beat the crowds. :-)

I hate to seem out of touch, but what’s wrong with Tetris?

KS Rex on June 6, 2009 at 9:54 AM

Doh! D-Day! Never mind. I thought you were making some connection between Tetris & “NARN, the Radio *Czar* Edition”. *blush*

No, I hijacked the thread. I am sorry, Ed and everyone. I jumped the gun, so to speak, before HA had a chance to start at least three threads about the 65th anniversary of D-Day.

And now back to the discussion of NARN, the Radio Czar Edition.
