Video: NBC’s ass-kissing of Obama too much even for Jon Stewart

posted at 5:35 pm on June 5, 2009 by Allahpundit

This is kind of like Hannity goofing on someone for going easy on George W. Bush. The final line’s the keeper, though, so don’t quit on it before then. Maybe I’m just dizzy at the thought that media bias towards The One is now emanating such a stench that even the Daily Show can’t help choking on it, but is the backlash to Hopenchange finally afoot? For the first time, Rasmussen finds as many people strongly disapproving of his performance as strongly approving. (Thanks, GM!) The split on whether he’s an excellent/good leader or just a fair/poor one is also at its lowest level yet at 51/49. And now Stewart’s slapping people around for pitching softballs. What’s next? A mildly critical segment about The One on MSNBC?

GE + NBC + Obama = The biggest scam ever to be ever be pulled on our country. Corruption at the highest levels. Using the environment as a weapon to economically rape us financially to third world status.

Excellent Post! Very accurate.

Add the GE’s healthimagination wing for socialist healthcare, with Tom Daschle on their board of directors AND the soon to be supplier of computerized healthcare records. Hum, conflict of interest? Anyone?….Anyone?

Notice the commercials lately?

Classic. Rest of it was trash but that was good.

Good observation…he’s not busting on Obama at all…he’s busting on NBC. I’ve yet to see any of these clowns find anything about Obama funny yet…the crapping on their competitors, not The One.

That’s because there is nothing funny about Obama. He’s just too scary to be funny.

In the name of Oprah, Obama we pray…

It is now starting to become “cool” to criticize the pap. Then it will become cool to laugh at Obama. When that happens, he will have the chair kicked out from under his presidency. The only thing he has going for him is pop culture. His completely corrupt and incompetent administration has nothing on which to stand.

You know, that isn’t even what I hope for. What I want is justice.
What I like a lot about radio shows, particularly Hannity (even though as a rule he is pretty annoying) are the callers who are legitimately liberal and have “woken up.” They suddenly see how the right was treated and give us another hearing. This COULD happen. They see that if the leftist media is soooooo positively soft toward Obama, could it mean that they were purposefully negative toward the right. What if the right is, well, RIGHT? I’ve heard this scenario play out a lot from callers.

Changing minds, one Obot at a time.

Yeah, I almost spit my coffee all over the dashboard yesterday when I heard one. But this video, LMAO! The last line is too funny. Well worth 3 1/2 minutes of my life.

“Must-see tv is just a suggestion, you have the power to make it law!” That was a joke, right? right?

metrygirl on June 6, 2009 at 12:21 PM

if the polls are evening up, nbc will just misrepresent more strongly, that’s all. wouldn’t want their god feeling rejected or spiteful would we? well, rejected. he’s always spiteful.

It is pretty much apparent by now that NBC has become the National Barack Channel. Never mind the fact that its ratings are in the toilet these days, thanks in part to the moronic idiocy of Jerry Zucker and the meddling of GE CEO Jeffrey Immelt.

This is not a rebuke to NBC, it’s more like jealously from another one of Obama’s media “girlfriends.” Notice he didn’t say anything remotely critical of the God-Emperor. “That bitch Brian Williams doesn’t deserve him! I should be the one pleasuring myself with President Mega-Christ’s cheeseburger!”

Jon Stewart is to comedy what Leni Riefenstahl was to cinema. He’s one of the worst of an awful group of ass-lickers.

I just had to watch that again. Too funny!
