1. What's up with spelling it Tsar? It comes from Caesar not Taesar.

2. Appointing Sir Alan Sugar as an economy dude is like appointing Donald Trump here. I say, might not be a bad idea.

P.S. Yeah, I watch Apprentice UK

P.P.S. Let The Donald take over Ground Zero Construction. And the UN renovations.

<blockquote>How much of a raise did Michelle Obama get at that hospital, after her husband became a senator? As I recall, it was like, doubled, from $150,000 to $300,000, for some kind of public affairs job. I’d like to hear what a Pay Czar would say about that.

<blockquote>o how many Czars is this guy going to appoint??? 25? 50? One for every state?? A Czar for every household???
How about a gun Czar! A crime Czar! A speech Czar! A hate Czar!
What will it take for a RINO to come alive?? I am just wondering.
Obama might as well appoint himself Czar over America and then he won’t have to answer to anyone but himself.

You forgot the Parenting Czar! This one will tell us what school to send our kids to, what time they go to bed, what they should wear, what they should eat, and who to hang around with. Oh, and of course, what their parents are doing, and talking about.

I heard this morning on Rush Limbaugh that Steny Hoyer is starting to make noise about this additional new czar that Obama is creating. That, along with Senator Byrd's protests a couple of months ago may cause this to come to a head soon. Hopefully, the rest of the movers and shakers in Congress will realize that Obama is stepping on their toes, and they will do something about it. Apparently, there have already been over 200 appointments made by POTUS that are just his staff, (czars, assistants etc.), so many that he is going to have to find them an office building outside the White House. Talk about a power grab!

The executive branch has been usurping legislative branch authority for years and the judicial branch has been legislating from the bench for years. Ogabe has just taken it to the next level. Why do we need a congress anymore? Because the constitution says so? Hell, that old piece of parchment is nothing but words, just words. Ogabe has shown that there is no downside to ignoring the very foundation of our republic. Most of us didn't know it at the time but his election was a national suicide pact.
The freedom of over 300 million Americans will die to realize the dreams of a narcissistic POS.

Ogabe needs the czars, he needs a legion of fall-guys to take the blame when his disastrous policies inevitably fail.

Ogabe also needs people to do his mental labor for him, he doesn’t have a clue how to do anything so he creates these czars to do the intellectual heavy lifting.

Bishop is right on point with this. When something goes right, Obama can stand up there and say, "My team worked long hours to pull this off!" giving himself legitimacy.

When something goes wrong (and there will be a lot more of those) He can say, "Well, they tried, but their best efforts were not enough, so I have accepted their resignations."

This is the same old pattern of Leftism. The Soviet Commissars of Agriculture who failed year after year to extract more food from the Ukrainians and so were taken out and shot, only to be replaced with a new Commissars. No one ever thinks to free the people, or enforce property rights.
As each of these commissars fail, the free market alternative will be ignored. GM will fail, but the CAFE standards will be maintained, no matter who dies because of it.

Because we are serving the greater good, don'cha know. Always the greater good.

Business Insider is reporting the Second Circuit denied the bondholder's petition to stop the sale of Chrysler to Fiat. I had hoped this would be otherwise, and an indication that Obama's powergrabs could be stopped. I doubt SCOTUS will stop it.

I still think the bondholders can challenge the final overall bankruptcy plan.
