I am so glad I don’t have cable – I never have to see his face except in teeny tiny internet photos, I never hear his voice except in excerpts on the radio, and I read the words his teleprompter gives him in articles so that I can read between the lines. My exposure to this loser (or lack thereof) is ideal.

I cannot believe the insult MSNBC just did in this video to Zahi Hawass, the tour guide, when they used the words “playing tour guide” in reference to Dr. Hawass as he explained fact and details to Obama during the photo opt. Dr. Hawass is an Egyptian archaeologist and Egyptologist in addition to being the current Secretary General of the Egyptian Supreme Council of Antiquities. I met him some years ago and was very impressed with his knowledge and expertise, and would never assumed anyone would ever use the term “PLAYING TOUR GUIDE” in reference to him. It’s an insult of the worst degree to this Egyptian expert.

Nice catch, I didn’t listen long enough. But you are so right, this man is incredible on so many levels. Spending 3 hours with him was a dream come true for me, something I will never forget.

Not to mention all the hard work he’s done in reclaiming so many lost treasures from other countries that rightfully belong to Egypt.

I have my “Don’t blame me I voted for McCain-Palin” sticker on my car and since I live in Socialist Portland-Home of the Bike Squads, I’ve had my antenna broken, car keyed, big spit marks on the car windows, soda poured on the car to make the windshield sticky, flipped off,cursed at, tailgated, etc.

Liberals are respectful & peaceful MY ASS.

The Bush Stickers didn’t leave my car looking much better. (Actually had someone let the air out of the tires in ’04).

Last week I stopped at a red light and saw an idealized Obama sign taped to a portion of the guard rail. But when I realized that instead of Obama,the sign read “Obey”, I felt like maybe these poor morons out there are starting to understand who our new president really is.

His name is Zahi Hawass, and I had the privledge of touring the Cairo Museum with him. He’s a true gem and a gentleman.
