She was vetted completely. Sotomayor is most likely a repeat of Obama: a hard-core, neo-Marxist intent on bringing full socialism to America, masquerading as a moderate Democrat in order to achieve a position of real power. I have little doubt that Obama knows who most of those people are, and is looking for every opportunity to appoint one to any top position available.

Ideological purity is the primary qualification they’re looking for. Judicial quality only appears on the list of qualifications as a means of slipping her past the Senate.
