I checked with the Demorats here in Chicago and they say we can have the aborted baby votes but we have to wait 18 years so that they are of legal voting age.

I think its high time for a special prosecutor to look into MN, if possible - one with no political leanings, appointed by their AG.

My point is - the Cloward-Pivens tactic seems to be in play - where right before an election - massive registrations come into each precinct, of which takes priority to understaffed county Board of Elections, whereas those “dead” aren’t removed properly due to the massive influx.

The problem is that it's not just MN, ACORN has been operating nationwide and not just in the last election, but since Obama was a pup in Chicago. The scope of the fraud is so massive, that it hard to imagine an investigation that could uncover more than a fraction of it. The fraud is not limited to voter registration either, Obama's internet fund raising operation obviously ran under the same principles. Given Soros' money and ACORN's manpower, even a barely computer literate type like myself could have set up a network to funnel millions into Obama,s campaign coffers in contributions that passed below the level of scrutiny, especially if I could be assured that no one would ever examine it to closely. Something which was gauranteed by Obama's waiving of federal matching funds. Coincidence?
When McCain was chosen to be the Republican candidate, I fully expected to see endless reruns of " The Manchurian Candidate" on all of Ted Turner's networks, to highlight McCain's lenghty stay in the hands of brainwashing commies. Strangely the film was actually shown less frequently than usual. Perhaps they correctly concluded that if if people really got to thinking about it, they might realize who the real "Manchurian Candidate" was.

If Republicans and Conservatives want oust the leftists from power, they need to learn from what has brought the leftists the success they now enjoy. The left is where it is now because they never quit, they never give up, and they never give an inch. Of course, even if the Right were to develop a similar attitude, they would still be at a serious disadvantage because the left's moral relativism doesn't allow for any ethical consideration to interfere with their quest to accumulate and maintain power. While the Republicans are eager to throw any of their comrades under the bus at the mere accusation of wrongdoing, the only crime that will get you drummed out of the Democrat cadre is deviation from the party line. The Right supports free speech for everyone, even their opponents, while the Left will go to the mat to support your right to speak your mind, as long as you can demonstrate that that mind has been thoroughly indoctrinated to their agenda. The Left has worked tirelessly to secure their grip on all the levers of public opinion ( education, news, and entertainment) while the Right barely even attempts to contend there anymore. The Left has been relentless in their efforts to expand their voter pool through ACORN, support for illegal immigration, voting rights for convicted felons, opposition to voter ID, etc., while the Republicans feebly limit their GOTV efforts to people who are actually entitled to vote. As I said, the interference of ethical considerations will probably never allow the Right to be an equal match with the Left in these efforts, but I wish the Republicans could at least demonstrate some of the contentiousness and perseverance of their opponents. Our Founders gave humanity one of its' greatest gifts in the principles of liberty and human dignity that they laid down in our Constitution and that gift merits much more than that, to fight those dedicated to destroying it, but with our current political leadership it's probably more than we should expect.

Yeah, like nobody laughs about how the state elects a pro wrestler as governor and SNL’s Stuart Smalley as senator. But we’ll ROTFL if it turns out that dead people actually cast ballots there.

I wish all you folks would quit equating Jesse with the despicable Franken. Compared to Al, Jesse was Alexander Hamilton. Minnesotans elected Jesse, because he was the first candidate in decades who, when asked a question, would actually tell you what he thought, rather than the usual BS platitudes offered by all the others. Of course, once he was elected the PC police made it their special mission to destroy him, not without some active assistance by Jesse himself. The popular culture may have Jesse permanently in the category of buffoon, but I ended up sending a smaller percentage of my income to the state of Minnesota during his tenure than with any other governor before or since.

I still contend that Minnesota should be punished for this nonsense by not seating anyone from this election.

Run a special election for a four year senatorial term in 2010.

Yes, Minnesotans should be PO'ed. And then hold their elected reps accountable, regardless of political party.

There's nothing partisan about incompetance.

I'm sure ACORN didn't have anything to do with it. From what I hear, they are completely non-partisan. That's why they get our tax dollars.

<blockquote>Ritchie has thus far been a disaster as Secretary of State. He botched the recount by surrendering his role in enforcing the law on absentee ballots, instead allowing the two campaigns to set ad hoc standards of acceptance.</blockquote>

I thought the Minnesota Supreme Court did that, no?

<blockquote>Ritchie has thus far been a disaster as Secretary of State.</blockquote>

ed, you never fail to crack me up! ritchie hasn't been a disaster, he has been a roaring success for those who supported him in becoming sec of state. Saying he is a "disaster" intimates he is somehow incompetent. This guy is a professional election corrupter.

<blockquote>In 2008 Secretary Ritchie was named the Most Valuable State Official in the United States by The Nation magazine and Politician of the Year by Politics in Minnesota, the state's leading non-partisan public affairs news service. In 2009, he received the Election Verification Network's national recognition award for his non-partisan leadership throughout the 2008 US Senate race recount.</blockquote>

On Black Panthers, Obama's connections go back far before this election. He personally identified with the Black Militant Power movement since his own juvenile years, through his collegiate years, professional employment choices, and with ACORN accompaniment, through his elections into public offices, now presiding in the Oval Office.

<blockquote>unless we want to replace Chicago as the butt of the jokes</blockquote>

Yeah, like nobody laughs about how the state elects a pro wrestler as governor and SNL's Stuart Smalley as senator. But we'll ROTFL if it turns out that dead people actually cast ballots there.

<blockquote>plus a little black panther thuggery, what makes us think we can ever win again?

Cross reference that with Obama's lecture delivered from Egypt.

I was looking for a thread to post that link; need to go back to relocate it now.

To readers interested in TX politics on this issue of maintaining voter and election integrity, recall our context.

We were so abused by the damned Democrat absences, having ALL fled out of town and subsequently into New Mexico during REGULAR legislative session (we only get sessions every other year, readers) in order to prevent a vote by preventing a quorum attendance. It was this voter fraud issue as to the legislature's legal practice of redistricting in order to properly represent each region's REAL population that burned the crook Ronny Earl, who in turn took down DeLay over bogus charges of money laundering based upon a legal determination that occurred AFTER the processing of funds from the general collection to where need be. No one can be prosecuted on a law that is passed after an action occurs, LATER determined to be inappropriate appropriation. And Earl NEVER permitted DeLay's case to come to trial; and Earl retired placing his puppet in the Travis County DA office in his stead. And the Marxist media smeared DeLay, and the rest is history, including DeLay's denial of his Constitutional Right to a speedy trial to clear his name and his record.

These same Democrats boycotted the processing of this year's voter ID legislation with THEIR filibuster during regular session, requiring the voter ID placed LAST on the list for vote as their concession to stop their filibuster. These Democrat Legislators enjoy the MSM coverage as they pompously preach the righteousness of augmenting voter registration fraud and skewing ballot results to eliminate opposition.

<strong>"Messaging has consequences." The Republican sponsors need to get the facts out to the public, and citizens will respond. There still are more citizens</strong>, the bulk of voters therein, who appreciate the reality that looms not simply overhead, but bearing us down into oblivion. We're being buried alive by the corruption. Our votes won't even get counted if we don't make this stand for voter identification.

/Add to the turmoil, the Hispanic determination to NOT respond to the <strong>too soon coming</strong> Obama executive decision timing for the next national Census.

Please, you should document your experiences right now and provide your facts to the Republican legislative sponsors and support their effort to protect our votes.

If Perry wants conservative support in his campaign vs. Hutchison, he must put this on the special session agenda.

So your county agents wouldn't correct their records when you went into their office with your documentation of voter registration cards plus death certificate and your daughter's current permanent address? Hasn't she corrected the record in error?

So far as I know in our conservative county, the practice of the law is observed. We vote every election, so our cards are automatically regenerated. But our children have grown and moved out. One has re-registered at that new address, and we don't get that adult child's card by mail. The other maintains our home as permanent address, studies elsewhere, and votes regularly with us returning home for elections.
