Joe Biden is an allegorical figure of everything wrong with our over sized government. He is the ‘good old boy’, he is the ‘white men’s club’, he is everything that Democrats make America believe Republicans are…..and get away with it very neatly indeed.

Now about that revolution: I keep waiting for it to start. I’ll do just about anything legal if it will really make a difference. I’m tired of talking, discussing and cussing.

All politicians are indeed pieces of garbage. The people need representatives not crooked, corrupt, self serving, politicians.

What are adjectives to describe Obama, his administration, and Congress.

The government needs to fear the people. Only then will they even pretend to show leadership for the benefit of all the people and for future generations. This government does not fear the people and doesn’t need to. The fellating media is avoiding, obfuscating and outright lying. Without their skeptical questioning of the administration, the electorate will believe that things are OK or at least moving toward OK, even while we are limping (sprinting?) toward serfdom. The media is paid to observe and report the truth. They observe and withhold the truth and are thus complicit in the push to subjugate the citizenry to a crushing debt and reliance on the party in power to “fix” the problem. They accept that the problem is the fault of the Bush administration (it certainly is in part) and that Ogabe is doing everything he can to correct it. The people accept this because the media tells them it is so and in the meantime the opposition party opposes nothing and stands for nothing.
Of the 535 members of the House and Senate, how many truly revere the constitution, see the monumental disaster ahead and are willing to stand against it? One percent, two percent, five percent? The rest of them are in it to retain and grow their own power.
As I’ve said before; I have no faith that the electorate will, given a real choice, do the right thing in 2010. I pray each day that I am wrong. But without the guardians of truth telling the truth, I am quite certain that I will be proven (sadly) right.

Whatever snapped, snapped in the last 10 years or so.

Remember Hurricane Katrina? The Superdome was the site of 10,000 murders a day! Most of them babies!

Congress sprang into action and threw billions of dollars to issue $2000 cash cards to every man, woman, child and pet in Louisiana. No time for debate!

I heard tell the dispensation and circulation of these cash cards was an object lesson in government waste. Of course, by today’s standards, it would hardly make a blip.

Reviewing the list of AZ projects getting stimulus dollars, I came across $1.0M for updating the lights on a baseball field that is supposed to create 13 jobs.

Which begs the question: how many porkulus dollars does it take to change a light bulb?

Where it went and what it did, comapred to what the pols promised, is nothing they want to discuss in detail. It was a fraud from the beginning and everyone inside knew it.

A real post-mortem or vigorous audit effort to measure true accomplishments would end up in indictments, for honesty and intelligence if not outright self-dealing, fraud and theft, up the food chain all the way into the Oval Office.

Bama can’t stand that, personally or professionally. Nevah happen. It’s another part of being a pantywaist professional politician.

Why aren’t Biden and the rest of the administration terribly exercised about the potential for stimulus failure as the money gets wasted or stolen and as citizens get scammed?

Because they’re part of the fraud mechanism.

There needs to be a serious revolution…It is our obligation. This theft of our children’s futures cannot stand!

Correct. We can’t wait until the next election, and even after that, it will take a long time to turn things around (as if that’s even possible at this point).

I would prefer to avoid bloodshed (especially the shedding of my own blood), so I would say that we need to “starve the beast” by “going Galt” as much as we can get away with.
