I, er, don’t think that’s what’s going on here, but it’s amusing anyway. Granted, it would come as no great shock to find a Wahhabist turning up his nose at an infidel, especially in a country that’s notorious for tolerating slavery. But if this is a case of the locals rebuffing The One on religious/racial grounds, then who’s that Saudi woman who dares approach her king without any head covering? Why, she looks suspiciously like … Valerie Jarrett, one of Obama’s top advisors. And the guy in front of her bears a striking resemblance to David Axelrod.
I don’t think anyone’s snubbing Obama. I think the doofus is just reflexively offering his hand in greeting to … members of his own team. Click the image to watch.

You’re right. She is the one you are thinking of. After spending many years putting Obama in the right social and political circles here in Chicago, the senate seat was supposedly the big pay off for her career. However, the phone call where Rahm was discussing her placement with then governor, Blago, has yet to be disclosed. I suppose we’ll hear her name pop up again when the Blago trials start up.

If you look closely, and watch the video several times, Obama’s mouth is fairly obscured. But his expression can be made out, and the movement of his hand in conjunction with what he’s saying, more closely resembles someone standing at the King’s side, introducing the members of his staff by name. His hand is merely being used as a pointer, pointing to the staff member and waving them over to the King to be greeted, as he introduces each one by name for the King’s benefit.
It’s a nothing, and a lame nothing at that. Ms.Underestimated kinda misread the whole situation, seeing only what she had hoped was happening. She missed it by a mile.
I don’t like the man at all, and I resent what he’s doing to my country. But we really ought to be careful how we characterize his actions given how so many of his fellow Democrats were so quick for eight years to mischaracterize and misjudge W’s actions at the drop of the hat.
Let’s not fall into that trap, puleeeze! We’re better than that, and we’ve a long and tough enough battle as it is trying to wrest control of our beloved America back from the dastardly idjiots who want to ruin it and convert it to a socialistic country.
To do that we need “cred” in order to win back the moderates and independents, and knee-jerk erroneous reactions to inconsequential actions will cost us in the long run if we’re not sharper and more astute about sizing up what’s happening at these important foreign policy events.

KendraWilder I agree to a point. I didn’t recognize the staffers at first, but I stand by my post partially. Obama using his hand to gesture “welcome” of his staff (of which I only recognized 2) is fine and all that, but Obama is left-hand dominant. His continued right-hand thrust outward seemed more than a “here’s my ….” than some think. A right-hand shake is universally the correct handshake, but since Obama is left-hand dominant, why didn’t he use his left hand to gesture to “here’s my staffer, XYZ…”?
And even the 4th guy in the line shook his hand, and the others did not – Obama rather looked dejected, pulling his hand back to his side as if to hide it. I still think there’s more to this than Obama intro’ing his “peeps” to the king.
Just my opinion.

This proves he’s a robot. There must be a glitch in the retina recognition software programming. This just might be his Achilles’ heel for those of the Galactic Core to take advantage of and overpower ‘The One.’ He’s obviously not been programmed to recognize those of his own staff. This simple programming error or possible safety measure preloaded by Michelle to keep his sexual adventures down to a minimum by never allowing him to become too ‘close’ to the help could be our window of advantage.
