Alright, you cowards, I'll bite (left my dignity at the unemployment office).
I'm thinking...Depends, with just a hint of trout.

How many of those stupid cars would I have to get if they force me to trade in my F350 dually diesel pu truck? Guess I won't be able to pick up a ton of hay for the horses anymore. Sorry, nags.

The Smart Car makes stupid people think they're smart. I have a neighbor who owns a Smart Car. Direct quote from the very nice, but hopelessly naive, doltish owner: I bought it to "save the planet".

please try! but read this first:

Man, you liberals don't know how to be thorough. You find a sentence that fits your needs and extrapolate absolute conclusions. That is why liberalism is a nonsense philosophy. Look at barry, his views are so totally knee jerk that they often contradict each other. You might have continued reading instead of getting all giddy and wet,

The tests, released Wednesday, show how well vehicles stack up against others of similar size and weight. The institute noted that the front-end test scores can’t be compared across weight classes, meaning a small car that earns a good rating isn’t considered safer than a large car that did not earn the highest rating.

The article does not give the number of cars in it's class or list specifically what cars are considered in it's class. Doesn't that make you wonder? When was the last time you read an article about a certain model that did not compare it specifically with another car? My guess is that the number of cars in this cars class that it was compared with was...zero. I've taken a close look at these cars up close and personal. If an expedition or suv of equal size hit this car on the passenger side at 45 miles an hour the driver would likely die instantly of massive head injuries. If this car got tangled up with a semi on a highway at 70 miles an hour they would have to vacuum the occupants remains out of the ball of shredded metal and glass.

now I just run through them in my new Acura TL

Defector01 on June 3, 2009 at 10:23 PM

So that's what the TL's grill-o-tine is for!

Seriously, these cars were all over Amsterdam in 2001. I tried to bring one home but it wouldn't quite fit in the overhead compartment.

There is a smart car around the block from us. My son and I are trying to get up the nerve to go over in the middle of the night and pick it up and carry it across the street and put it on their neighbors porch. Two freinds and I once picked up a Toyota Corrolla and carried it about 20 feet and placed it on a raised median. That smart car can't be nearly as heavy as the Toyota.

Of course I will never do that because I am older and mature now.
