You nut! the “Starsky and Hutch” car didn’t have a stripe on the hood. It was on the roof and down the side. But considering this car doesn’t have a hood that just might work.

I was wondering who was the announcer of the piece because if Iowahawk has such a great voice, he should be doing radio rather than just writing. I didn’t recognize until nearly the end the dulcet tones of KSFO’s multi-talented morning sidekick Officer Vic (Tom Benner).

And they forgot to remind us of the importance of following Obama’s energy plan: the tire pressure gauge.

We’ll be wistfully remembering the Yugo.

I need 1 baby seat and 2 “boosters” now that Ohio has mandated “booster” seats for all kids up to age 8. If I take my other 2 grandchildren along, I need 2 more baby seats. Do I strap them on top or buy a trailer?

Is Obama trying to further curtail the birth rate?

I think I grew up with a yellow one. In a kitchen with orange walls. Next to a room with deep brown carpeting and a red, orange, and yellow couch.

Once Reagan got elected, my parents redecorated the house. The 70’s look was quickly purged.

You were one of the lucky ones. I had to wait until we were at least a year into Reagan’s second term before Mom and Dad finally axed the bright red shag carpet and cheesy felt walpaper in the family room, and the green shag carpet throughout most of the rest of the house. The olive, brown and orange colored kitchen, complete with olive-green stove and refrigerator, didn’t get a makeover until after I went off to college.

Ugly, ugly stuff. Although I’d gladly install bright red shag carpet in one of my own rooms in exchange for another four years of Reagan……

Word is out Obama destroyed GM to get preffered stock to the UAW and 500 million dollar a year payments to the UAW for Evah. Fiat got it’s 20% share for no cash outlay.

Er, Congress has issued no demurrals. In fact, they’re falling over themselves to tap this new wellspring of pork:

“I think where GM builds its next plant is going to be more of a political decision than a business decision,” said Rep. Pete Hoekstra, a Republican from western Michigan. “For the foreseeable future, these car companies will be run by the Obama administration, and it will not be arm’s length.”

As I commented here:

GM is going to be another huge pork-barrel opportunity for Congress. Which plants will be built or closed — and particularly where — and what kinds of cars will be made, is just the beginning. Obama’s going to “shield GM from outside pressure”? That would require him to take a stand and generate controversy, but as we’ve seen on every issue, Obama doesn’t like to do that. He won’t get involved if it means spending political capital on the Hill.

I think you meant Holiday Tree and wait because they’ll be replaced with the new ECO-Holiday tree.
