Why would Cheney enter the public arena? Perhaps the DoJ and various Obama officials and democraps calling for them to be locked up for ‘torturing’ enemy combatants? Perhaps the unwise release of our interrogation techniques and the failure to release memos on the lives these techniques saved?
I know that sounds crazy, I mean why would anyone want to defend themselves or their record of eight years without any further successful terrorist attack on our soil? Didn’t Cheney get the message that he must meekly go to jail for crimes against the democrap establishment? How dare he embarrass Nancy Peelousy and other democraps with the truth?

I think it’s just that having a senior figure in the GOP, like Cheney, actually come out and make strong unambiguous statements is allowing the wavering “squishies” to find their voices (not to mention spines). Honestly, look at all the people running away from the GOP brand in the last six months. Doesn’t exactly shore up the base, does it?
So we lost an election. Get over it, stop quivering, and mark your lines in the sand now. Faint heart never won fair congressional seat.

People who make the reasoned judgement that there is danger will take righteous offense at being told that their concern is the result of right-wing indoctrination. There’s a legitimate difference. And don’t just take my word for it. Ask any of those Gitmo prisoners that we send to countries like Jordan.
