Well, that, and the fact that Operation Rescue wasn’t involved, that the action was murder, not terrorism, that antiabortion Christians don’t advocate violence, or the forced conversion of those who don’t agree with them, or even that it’s OK to hate.

Why rare? If it’s a right, then why hope people don’t use it as often as possible? This is equivocation.

I hold no brief for the religious right, and its views on homosexuality in particular offend (and affect) me personally. But it’s precisely because of my identity that I consider comparisons between so-called Christianists (who seek to limit my rights via the ballot box) and Islamic fundamentalists (who seek to limit my rights via decapitation) to be fatuous.

Those quotes could be taken to mean that adultery is only committed once remarriage takes place. It doesn’t specify divorce only.

Although I’m from a different planet than yourself, I not only agree with your statement, I have also been saying much the same about many of the barbaric acts in some parts of the world that happen to be Muslim. Culture first, then religion.

too often cultural nuances are projected onto the predominant religion. the argument made in the above post is still basically sound, but the genital mutilation part really doesn’t help.

You weren’t being terse, you were being a tool. Has it occurred to you to notice what happens to those who claim that they were assaulted by a Muslim? It’s not a free pass by any stretch of the imagination, it usually results in a vicious assault by first the MFMSM and then more assaults by the Muslim community.

In fact claiming to be assaulted by a Muslim is such a great idea the MFMSM pisses their own pants at the thought of offending Muslims.

I’m not GOP. I voted ONCE in 30 years for GOP.

I wonder if science will ever be able to determine the environmental or biological factors that created defectives like you. It is a worldwide disease so I would not be surprised to find out that there was some kind of environmental cause, some seemingly innocent product that is still not suspected, some ingredient in soap or some common food preservative. Some humans are immune and some are affected horribly.

Conservative Christians seek to preserve American society as it has been.

The Left wants to change American society…in their way, to destroy it, and rebuild it to their aspirations.
