For many Jews, who have chucked all other forms of identity and observance, their Jewishness resides in their adherence to liberalism, which they confuse with biblical values (“Justice, justice, thou shalt pursue,” becomes “send checks to ACORN”). Being a member of the Democratic Party is right up there as well. Ann Coulter has the rest of it nailed in her book about liberalism as a form of religion, because most Reform Judaism is barely distinguishable from contemporary liberal protestantism. I must profess that I keep hearing this “straw man” phrase, and don’t understand it, so I finally looked it up. Wouldn’t you know, I never heard it when Bush was in office, but now when I looked it up, the idiot defining it, used Bush as the example of someone who uses this argument, and disputed that Obama uses it at all.

So, just to find out what this phrase meant, I had to read all this garbage about how bad Bush was, and how great Obama is. Geez, I can hardly wait until the new Webster’s dictionary comes out, and under the word “messiah”, they have Obama’s name. When does it stop? BLAH,BLAH,BLAH,BLAH……

I have received a text version of Obama’s entire speech from an un-named teleprompter. Here it is, in it’s entirety:

“Hello everyone, thanks for coming

Thank you.”

Only thing I can think of, is that Mr. Emanuel is ashamed of his ethnicity like Obama is his country, and all the others who are Arab are just being polite.

Our only hope is the effect of his policies finally taking hold. Inflation, continuingly increasing unemployment, high energy costs, etc. Sooner or later someone in the media is going to pick some of the low hanging fruit lying around and criticize this guy–someone who had been isolated for, say, having asked a tough question once. THAT journalist will be greeted like a guy with snow-cones in the middle of the desert, and that may cause other journalists to take note. Something is going to tip public opinion, maybe Woodward’s book will start the drip drip? I still predict he’ll be as popular as Moussolini by the time he’s done wrecking this country.

To them I say. . .” Or, “There are many voices that would proclaim me to be the Emperor without clothes. I would respond to them by saying. . .”

But no, it’s always some fictitious cohort. “There are some who say that if we become a green country, we won’t be visible from above because of the trees. . . ” I just can’t stand it.

I wonder how many of many of you have the same feeling as me: “What the hell is our president doing?”
