Not sure where you got that. In Reagan’s diary and memoirs, he constantly mentions how he tried to reduce spending and thought it was one of his biggest failures.

Not only that, he continuously lobbied for the Balanced Budget Amendment.

Yup…he sure was “comfortable”…/sigh

The Dems act like Reagan was really a Democrat. And Republicans act like he’s too far right for Democrats to like.

Just had to see that again.

Remember how the “establishment” preferred G.H.W. Bush over Reagan, and Bush derided the “voodoo economics” that helped usher in decades-long prosperity? History repeats itself.

But the era of Reagan is over! We need to forget Reagan!

Mr. Reagan was a respected and beloved president, and Obama wants to be re-elected. IOW, it’s all about politics and posturing.

EVERYTHING Barack Obama does is about “politics and posturing”. Everything. The sooner people understand that, the better off we’ll all be.

His appointment of Sotomayor is one of the clearest and most recent examples. Did he select the greatest legal mind available to him in order to serve the American people? Nope. He chose a mediocre judge with a fairly florid history of overturned rulings… and he did it based on GENDER and ETHNICITY. And liberals, waving the flag of their newly-found patriotism, had no problem with it. Obama’s selection was PANDERING in it’s most blatant form. But they hailed it as brilliant political strategy, never recognizing the fact that Obama serves HIMSELF with this choice, not the American people.

Obama said hed filibuster any warrantless wiretap bill with telecom immunity.

He skipped the cloture vote and then voted it into law without a peep. No protest from the left or the press.

Anyone who would pull that, something so core to ones beliefs, simply cannot be trusted.

Its not derangement if its true.

Reagan didn’t need a brigade of teleprompters to be “The Great Communicator”. He also was loved both for his personality, charisma, AND his policies.

You’re right. The very existence of a complete cipher in that office, is no fault of his/her. The fools are only those who voted for them. Enjoy them.

What if anyone would have said during the presidential run “Mr. Obama, is it true that you have Muslim roots?”. They would have been obliterated.

Today, when it’s convenient he’ll admit to not only roots, but Muslim blood. In Egypt he’ll finally own up to his middle name, which he should have proudly done during the run, if he weren’t such a sissy.

You, on the other hand deserve a place in heaven for being so holy and clean.

Bush also didn’t commit to 12 trillion dollars in spending in less than 100 days.

He also didn’t take over businesses by firing their CEOs and forcing money upon them.

He also didn’t sign on spend more than 1 million a day for 2008 years in one spending bill.

He also didn’t have a DHS that called half the country ‘extremists’ for protesting over government spending.

He also didn’t abrogate the rule of law when it came to contracts.

I could go on too. I could do this all day.

Barry, before you sully the name of one of our legends any further, grow up, and see what you’re doing to us. See the seeds of chaos you’re sowing. Know that you can avoid pushing the wagon into the stream, because once it’s in, you won’t be able to pull it out. Someone else will have to.
