Will Republicans ever learn?

They bend over backwards to, go along and get along, with the Democrats and they are in turn viciously attacked. Their surrender to the left buys them nothing and their attacks on their own base voters only alienate the people they need on their side to win.

Republicans truly earn the name “Stupid Party” every day.

Now the poor MSM can’t even smear Sotomayor’s critics without having their smears debunked within hours.

What a……………pity.

During negotiations wherein Republicans are on weak minority ground,

Maverick, they controlled the House, Senate and White House for almost 12 years. They solved nothing. They blamed the demofascists for blocking. Now they are saying they have to tread gently because they are in the minority. It’s all lies, all a scam. The republicans think the American people are just as stupid as the democrats think we are. The republicans, democrats and media live in their own self created buble together and have no clue as to what reality really is. They pay pollsters, who like any other business want to kepp their clients happy, and the pollsters go out and create the results the politicians think are there. In 20 years the democrats will drive around in their limos and marvel at the equality of the people waiting in the bread lines and the republicans will drive by in their limos and talk about how Americans should have the choice of which bread lines they wait in.

I heard the left was growing uneasy about Sotomayor’s position on abortion.

It is a scam, she is a doctrinaire leftist and will do as instructed.

But that’s not the way GOP elites like Cornyn see it – they feel a need to chastise OUR side.

This is not a recipe for success in battle.

Cornyn picked his path – he can live with it.

Good clarification, Honda, that hits a chord.

Very chagrined, Texas Republicans want Big Bad John to do right. He will face our wrath, as will Kay Bailey. Nothing is worse than what you’ve pointed out, friendly fire with full premeditated intent. Sabotage. And her coming home to run against Perry to be Governor plays exactly into the enemy’s scheme; divide and conquer to obliterate all Republican opposition. Sickening, to watch Cornyn tap dance on us for Barry’s pleasure. I’m not putting it past Cornyn to have a very complex scheme he’s working towards on our behalf.

I can appreciate the frustration Cornyn has with Limbaugh. It isn’t that Limbaugh is wrong. And it isn’t that Limbaugh has no right to express things in his own way. But Limbaugh does play to his audience, us, and does enjoy heckling his opponents. And that is great until Limbaugh uses every day language (unlike lawyers) that the media and politicians abuse full throttle to misrepresent Limbaugh’s statement and attribute prejudice to every Republican politician (the LA Times smearing Cornyn).

Right or wrong, politicians make deals in order to get legislation passed. During negotiations wherein Republicans are on weak minority ground, Cornyn doesn’t appreciate having to fight extra heavy burdens resulting from a crudely worded truth that escapes Limbaugh’s lips during a daily 3-hour radio stint.

Obama and Democrats aside for a moment, to illustrate a frustration from Rush’s female supporters rather than Republicans in Washington, note (less frequently than in former years) that Rush puts things poorly and leaves the mess for his supporters to overlook. Morons need not imply that Rush is a male chauvinist; he supports Palin and conservative women. As a human, at times he expresses his dissatisfaction in generalities that are not always wise because of the obvious specifics that make him look prejudiced. Today more than ever, Senators do not have the luxury of any prejudicial appearance on PC Capitol Hill.

That’s the gist of the differences: approach. And Honda is right’ we’re in battle for survival, and we need our leaders to be on OUR side, not on the fence, not in the middle of the road used most frequently for left turns.

BTW internationally, Obama will learn this lesson the hard way.

Some Latinos would love to see one of their own at the SCOTUS, but will they continue to support her if she consistently rules against the church and conservative values? I don’t think so.

Latino leadership is in bed with the Democrats – they’ll tell the community to support the Democrats come hell or high water. The ones that won’t are the well-off independently minded ones.

And don’t fool yourself. Soto is Pro-Choice. There is NO way that Obamba would nominate a Pro-Life candidate. He’s not George Bush.

Obama knows everything about this woman.

Looks like they changed the wording in the article, which means that they have absolutely no excuse or defense whatsoever for saying what they did. As such, they should offer an apology for the damage done by the original version of the article which contained the lie. But they won’t of course.
