SKYFOX,

As far as the media, major metropolitan newspapers, national magazines and major TV outlets, such as MSNBC, as well as other media, are going down the tubes. They have lost all objectivity and the patronage of conservatives and independents. They don't care. They will lose their jobs and their businesses before they turn on their Messiah.

With Sotomayor and one or two appointments, he WILL have the SCOTUS that will support whatever he does. Congress won't stop him.

The DOJ is with him. He has taken over the business of business. He can do what he wants, with impunity.

Meanwhile, most Republicans will sit on their hands and not say anything because they do not want to appear obstructionist or racist.

Daggett and Star20

I have considered this (as have so many of us) but the concept is fraught with peril. For this strategy to work, Ogabe will have to completely own the media (right now he owns their hearts but not their paychecks) so that there can be no media-based blowback. He will also have to disarm the population sufficiently to reduce the number of armed patriots to a "manageable" few. He will have to own the SCOTUS to avoid their interference with his power-grab and the Congress will have to believe they can be complicit without endangering their power positions. If any of these pillars of his scheme crumble he will suffer for it. At what point will he think he has to use the military to stand against the American population and will they do it?
I'm guessing no, but this is one veteran who would truly hate to stand in armed opposition to our own military...for emotional as well as practical reasons. I'm not seeing a constitutional amendment being possible in the next 8 years, but, then again, I never thought a scum-sucking POS like Obama could be elected in the first place.

The United States will not accept North Korea as a nuclear-armed state, Defense Secretary Robert Gates

I'm pretty sure with the NorKs setting of a nuke, they are now a "muclear-armed state", so that horse has left the barn

There is some truth in what Daggett is saying. It appears clear to me that with all of the unprecedented power grabs and free speech intimidation tactics, this administration is at a MINIMUM, setting up a one party system. It is very possible he is setting himself up for a third or fourth term, as well, due to our “crisis.”

Star20 on May 30, 2009 at 9:29 PM

I predict this is exactly how it will proceed.

Just check out this article which shows two important things: The ties between Obama, ACORN, George Soros, and Frances Fox Piven.

The last link is important because the Cloward-Piven Strategy is to overload the government with impossible commitments (sound anything like what Obama is doing?) which ends up creating a huge crisis. Make people desperate enough and you can get them to agree to any kind of socialist power grab you want just to make the pain go away.

How about bankrupting the country and destroying the dollar for a start?

The democrats must face it - with what Obama is doing, nobody will elect another democrat for President for a long long long time.

I think he's planning to promote himself to dictator, so it won't matter to him anymore.

Does anyone think OMarxist will do anything even AFTER a nuclear “man made disaster” ?

At this point, about all we can do is hope the 'disaster' has him and Congress at the epicenter, at a rally with thousands of Obamadrones and media bootlickers in attendance. As a human tragedy it such an event would be awful...but it would be our best shot (grim pun intended) at pulling this nation's head out of it's @$$.

Of course, the commies know this fact. Thus the 'disaster' would be far more likely to occur in conservative strongholds like Alaska or Texas. The mouth-breathing libtard masses have their position strengthened as some major opposition is removed and at the same time the true patriots of America are dealt a devastating blow. That's a pretty nasty double-whammy.

Who is going to stand up to and take down these dangerous leaders in the world? I'm talking about Obama by the way. The democrats must face it - with what Obama is doing, nobody will elect another democrat for President for a long long long time.

Based on New(to me) information(namely follwing the link in the story about Sheriff Joe),I must amend my previous comment.Obama isn't simply incompetant,he is traitorous.Of course the morons who voted for him will never admit that, either.
