Obama vows: I have not yet begun to destroy the economy
posted at 4:05 pm on May 28, 2009 by Allahpundit
A quick-cut compilation of self-congratulation from last night’s fundraiser in L.A., culminating in a threat/promise that we ain’t seen nothing yet. Which is true: If you think it’s bad now, wait until the inevitable cost overruns on universal health care start rolling in and our AAA debt rating gets even shakier. You’ll be pleased to know the crowd to see the world’s biggest celebrity was itself littered with celebrities, some of whom paid $30,000 for a photo with The One and the privilege of hearing him repeat his half-assed nonsense about “creating or saving” jobs at a private dinner. Specter was there too, Obama’s coattails no doubt firmly in hand.
Did he at least have the stones to address Prop 8 and gay marriage, one of the few subjects on which he and the glitterati (ostensibly) disagree? Guess.

Hubris, thy name is Obama.
Keep telling us all how great you are, Barry, and how much you’re going to change our country. It’ll make your inevitable downfall that much sweeter for those of us who see you for what you really are.

Dr. Deficit is trying to walk a line between destroying the economy, blaming it on Bush, and taking credit for any glimmer of hope that may exist at the same time.
I give him a few more months of this, and, once (if) the public start holding him accountable, he’ll be a 24/7 spin machine promoting every successful hotdog stand and roach coach as a personal success of his.
My guess is he’ll be too late by that time.

Something the LA Times will not report: I read on another site a gay activist reported that Obama specifically referred to them (gay protesters) off-mike and gave them a “what are you guys talking about?” brush-off. Didn’t go over well and guess which Messiah has been thrown under the rainbow bus. Now they’re not even sure about Ms. Unassailable Latina Nominee, and I went to one site and they are mad mad mad. Now it’s time for Conservatives to step back and watch the other side eat their own.

I especially liked how the Traitor-in-Chief pointed out that we are paying to cover illegals. Whoopee! And that’s just the start.
The tale of the fall of America will be a story of mass insanity and stupidity that will live through the millenia. This generation of Americans will be known to future historians as the dumbest people to have ever existed, as they put their own country to death for no reason other than to alleviate their illusory guilt for a moment. People will spit after mentioning any of the names of the despicable, lying scumbags who took America down as a consequence of their own emotional handicaps.

More “reality checks” will be coming soon when The One sets up the 10 percent VAT or federal sales tax to pay for universal health care. Or when the gas, gasoline, and fuel oil costs increase bigtime when C(R)AP and TRADE HITS HOME.

Or when they are replaced in their jobs by ILLEGAL ALIENS (not “undocumented immigrants”) who will work for half their wages.

He’ll kiss me on the cheek and he’ll made a magic sign
He’ll say “What you need is Obama Potion Number Nine”
He’ll turn around and gave me a wink
He’ll say “I’m gonna have my Michelle make it up right here in the White House sink”
It’ll smell like Chicago, it’ll look like socialist printer’s ink

But when a wheel barrel full of it won’t even buy a BigMac
It’ll break my little bottle of Obama Potion Number Nine

My memory sucks, but way back, early in the campaigning, I remember a man came forward, claiming to have had a relationship with Obama. Including drugs, and other such shenannighans. This man was pretty much trashed as a nobody, with questionable back ground. Then a man, a gay man from Obama’s church, turned up dead. Murdered. Apparently this man with the claims had called, and wanted to talk to this gay man. A meeting, I think had been set…but then he was murdered. 2 other gay men from Obama’s church were murdered as well. After that, I never could find more on this story, or the outcome, or if any arrest had been made.
That was off topic, but here’s my confusion. Is Obama anti gay? If we go by those in his church, he is not. If we go by the claims he’s a closet muslim…he would have to be. There is no tolerance for homosexuality, within Islam.

I’ve been having this little day dream lately. I imagine it’s election night 2012, and the Republican candidate comes out to give his or her acceptance speech (and, really, I don’t care who who or she is), and he or she opens with “Ladies and gentleman, our long national nightmare is over…” and the crowd goes wild. A tingle goes up my leg every time I dream it.
The dream continues…our new president starts every speech, every press conference, every sentence with “Well, given the unprecedented economic mess we inherited, we’re just hoping to get the economy back to where it was when George Bush left office…”
Rational Thought on May 28, 2009 at 4:37 PM
The liberties of our country, the freedom of our civil Constitution, are worth defending at all hazards; and it is our duty to defend them against all attacks. We have received them as a fair inheritance from our worthy ancestors: they purchased them for us with toil and danger and expense of treasure and blood, and transmitted them to us with care and diligence. It will bring an everlasting mark of infamy on the present generation, enlightened as it is, if we should suffer them to be wrested from us by violence without a struggle, or to be cheated out of them by the artifices of false and designing men.
If ever a time should come, when vain and aspiring men shall possess the highest seats in Government, our country will stand in need of its experienced patriots to prevent its ruin.

Remember the great lesson from Weimar: buy all your beer when you step INTO the biergarten to avoid the price hikes while you drink them. In our case it will start with the taxes on beer… but then comes the inflation. And if you think health care is ‘expensive’ now, just wait around a year. Get sick now while you can still get any service at a reasonable price.
And just when will all those in H-wood get to have their wealth ‘spread around’? They gots way too much for their own good. Way more than Joe the Plumber does, at any rate. Of course they don’t think that he was talking about them when he said that… and forget that any radical regime eats its supporters as they are unnecessary.

This movie is a document, to the past, the evils of the past, and how we should never let it happen again…yet he doles out what could be the salaries of some families, just to sit and bask in Obubba’s glow. Are you with me and recognize that there is virtually no chance of ever recovering, or have you not come quite that far yet? Sure, we can technically “survive”, but as a country unrecognizable to us. Increasingly it’s looking like nothing short of total collapse/rebuild or civil war can save the country while preserving it’s values.
