On sale: The Patriot’s “Obama’s 100 Days” event

posted at 10:55 am on May 27, 2009 by Ed Morrissey

Earlier this month, I had the rare privilege of sharing the stage with three giants of talk radio: Bill Bennett, Dennis Prager, and Hugh Hewitt.  For more than an hour, we discussed Barack Obama’s first 100 days in a Salem Radio event at the Minneapolis Convention Center, and I got to moderate the discussion.  We all had a great time, and hundreds of our friends and listeners in town joined us for this night of analysis and advice.

Now our local radio station that hosted the event, AM 1280 The Patriot, has the audio on sale for those who missed it!  For $10, you can get the 2-CD set with the audio of Hugh, Dennis, and Bill answering the questions I posed.  Did Dennis agree with anything Obama did in his first 100 days?  On which area of policy does Bill think we should focus our attention?  Did Hugh threaten to sic Erwin Chemirinsky on me if I didn’t give him the first question?  Find out the answers to all of these questions, and more!

Hopefully, they cut the audio before I blew the ending ….

I resent that. I am most definitely the Sham-Wow guy, minus losing a fight with a prostitute.

You can find out for just $9.95 (+S&H). Your order includes two CDs containing the audio of three stars of talk radio and a blogging star discussing Obama’s first 100 days for one full hour.

But wait, there’s more!

Order in the next 15 minutes — because we can’t do this all day — and you’ll receive a signed photo of Cap’n Ed in a Speedo.

If you’re not completely satisfied with your order, send it back for a full refund (minus S&H). But keep the signed photo of Cap’n Ed for yourself. Call now!

Heh. I worked a Shamwow reference into my 11:12 posting. But I’m going to have to insist you wear a microphone and say, “You’ll love my nuts” in the course of your sales pitch.

So you’re saying you typically win your fights with prostitutes?

The restraining order requires me to offer no comment at this time….

Sorry, no can buy, we’re having a recession.

Can’t put it on the credit card cause my Precedent screwed that all up.

My Precedent said I must make sacrifices.

C’mon Ed……Pass a few copies out for free and call this your contribution to Obama’s stimulus.

Per Talkers Magazine…
Bill Bennett: #25
Dennis Prager: #42
Hugh Hewitt: #71
Granted, ratings aren’t everything, but how do you define “giants”? Shouldn’t they at least be in the top twenty to deserve that honorific?

Bill Bennett a giant of talk radio? Hardly. Sorry but this guy is the last person I want giving Republicans advice. He was so sure (and I think he still is) that Obama would govern as a moderate. He also couldn’t understand why Barry would “farm out” the stimulus package to the far left of his party. Hmmmm, last time I checked Obama WAS the far left of his party. This is also the same guy who criticized Rush for saying he wanted Obama to fail without even hearing what Rush really said. He’s also the same guy who thinks Paul Ryan (Mr. 90% AIG Bonus Tax) is the future of the GOP while Sarah Palin is not. Yeah, I want advice from him *snort*.
