Video: Lawrence O’Donnell, Bob Beckel wet themselves over Cheney’s speech

An outrageously outraged palate cleanser for your amusement. “Sleazy” and “slanderous” and “disgraceful” and “an abomination”: It’s precisely the reaction you’d expect, with O’D in particular straining for adjectives to express his limitless contempt. Given The One’s smear this morning of the pro-Cheney crowd as supporting an “anything goes” policy on torture, O’Donnell’s point about him fairly characterizing his opponents is especially entertaining. Both clips are worth watching but if you only have time for one, stick with Scary Larry. It’s shorter, and it’s always fun to watch him struggle with his partisan rage.
And no, I don’t know why Fox is hosting MSNBC clips either.

SO.. the left’s spokes-betas are pissed that Dick Cheney won’t sit down and shut up and at least ACT like he too is in awe of HopeyChange. See where the Dems have pushed the Repubs? One rebel.. Dick Cheney who will not go quietly into the night like the Dems expected him to ad as George Bush has, and they sidt themselves.
I feel confident in expressing my approval, and say that “This” (meaning Cheney’ actions) is the model for taking back what was given up by the jelly spined Repubs over the last 8 years.

Allah, you missed the key hypocrisy point here…
I’m not going to watch that dishonest turd Beckel again, but I saw this live earlier and amid all of the outrage he (paraphrasing here) said he’s never seen a former VP come out against a sitting POTUS like this.
Does anyone remember a couple years back when a red-faced Gore was SCREAMING in to a microphone: “George Bush betrayed his country!!!”
Can’t seem to find the video, just long versions which supposedly contain that bit.

I remember when the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth challenged John “I served in Vietnam” Kerry’s war hero status. Larry became completely unhinged while debating John E. O’Neill on PSMSMBC.
He was literally foaming at the mouth, red-faced, eyes bulging, and screeching at the top of his lungs, “LIAR…LIAR…LIAR…”. What brilliant dazzlingly eloquent debating skills there Larry.
The guy is clearly psychotic. He shouldn’t be allowed in public, much less on television.
Larry get some therapy, preferably shock.

So, O’Donnell says that Bush and Cheney knew how Al Qaeda was going to attack before 9-11. We all remember the specificity of that intelligence. Meanwhile, Beckel seems to be setting up the release of the intel Cheney is asking for as useless unless it gives specific chapter and verse, even numbers of casualties saved.
It’s amazing how two shills for the same administration (or against the same former administration, which amounts to the same thing) can be so diametrically opposed in their rhetoric. Not to mention safe from ever being called on how wrong they both are.

Liz Cheney just laid teh major smackdown on little Larry on a clip that hopefully be posted shortly for everybody’s enjoyment. Liz calmly laid out her points, refusing to let herself be interrupted or intimidated by an unhinged individual who obviously has “issues”, laughing while she reduced him to complete incoherence; like George Costanza with hair. Little Larry obviously has nobody to tell him “Why go out and make a complete ass of yourself yet again?”

I listened to excerpts of the Cheney speech on Rush and heard substance and insight. I only heard a few snippets of Ogabe’s speech. I didn’t need to hear all of it because I could write it myself (if I was still doing acid) and the big-eared crapweasel makes me vomit. What I did hear was the usual mindless platitudes and generalities, signifying nothing but weakness and capitulation.
