Video: Lawrence O’Donnell, Bob Beckel wet themselves over Cheney’s speech
posted at 5:26 pm on May 21, 2009 by Allahpundit
An outrageously outraged palate cleanser for your amusement. “Sleazy” and “slanderous” and “disgraceful” and “an abomination”: It’s precisely the reaction you’d expect, with O’D in particular straining for adjectives to express his limitless contempt. Given The One’s smear this morning of the pro-Cheney crowd as supporting an “anything goes” policy on torture, O’Donnell’s point about him fairly characterizing his opponents is especially entertaining. Both clips are worth watching but if you only have time for one, stick with Scary Larry. It’s shorter, and it’s always fun to watch him struggle with his partisan rage.
And no, I don’t know why Fox is hosting MSNBC clips either.

So he’s use to FAIL.

I thought O’Donnel was an actor now. I heard he was on Big Love on HBO but maybe I misunderstood. But at least it would explain the Oscar nominated performance.

O’Donnell really needs to seek out some professional help – for his own sake.

Just another partisan hack, sounding off…..
A 10 minute dialogue on the strategy used by the Communists to undermine and take over America starting 60 years ago, which pertains to what has happened and is happening in our country since then and also fits in perfectly with what the Left is trying to do to America.

I’ve hated that Lawrence O’Donnell SOB since he went nuclear at the late Cathy Seipp about the California teachers’ union extortions.
O’Donnell was all for the teachers destroying the California taxpayers, of course.

Just as I’ve never watched the beheading videos, I don’t need to watch these guys to know evil exists in the world.
I hope that whatever these guys in the darkness of their minds are wishing on Dick Cheney happens to them times 10.

O’Donnell has to be one of the dumbest people I’ve ever seen on TV (which is saying quite a bit). I can’t believe anyone pays him to do anything. … Actually, I can’t believe that anyone lets him out, at all. He’s an embarrassment to humanity.
progressoverpeace on May 21, 2009 at 5:33 PM
I happened to see this one live. I was bouncing back and forth from Fox to Matthews to see what an ass he was going to make of himself…… and then O’Donnell came on. CHENEY IS A LIAR. HE IS A LIAR. HE HAS NO CREDIBILITY. CHENEY IS A LIAR….. and that was all I could take.
He’s pretty much a nut job.

I don’t see the point of giving Larry O’Donnell the opportunity to be on television.
He cannot possibly persuade anyone to join his side on an issue.
And his side of the issue is almost surely better represented by anyone other than Larry O’Donnell.

Idiots like O’Donnell are obsessed with whining about everything before 9/11 when no one expected Islamic terrorists to do anything.

I can’t remember who odonnell kept saying, “liar, liar, liar,” and on and on for at least 5 minutes and wouldn’t let them say a word. He is a despicable little pipsqueak and I have turned him off since then. Maybe someone can remember who he wouldn’t let say a word.
As far as beckel is concerned – he did the same thing clinton did, but he had to pay for his (well money wise that is). I can’t stand either one of them and turn Sean off any time beckel is on and I’m getting tired of having to do it. Wake up Sean – get rid of him. As far as “liar, liar, liar” is concerned – I don’t watch msnbc so can avoid the evil little man.

He has an uncanny ability to summon the most incoherent, frothing, nougaty hatred in his enemies simply by existing.

This is precisely what one would expect from the intellectually vacuous left. Dick Cheney gave a policy speech today. He attacked Obama’s policies. He didn’t attack the man. Those on the left never know what to do with substantive policy arguments, so they go for the ad hominem attack. In fact, much of Obama’s speech today — much of most of his speeches since Inauguration Day — is little more than an ad hominem attack on President Bush. Obama cannot articulate policy is any sensible or cohesive manner, particularly national security policy. He cut his teeth on the politics of personal destruction, and it’s where he — and those who support him — always go. Personal attacks on political opponents win elections from time to time, but they do not help one lead once the election has been won. Obama is a candidate, not a president, a sad truth that is becoming clearer every day, particularly to his hysterical supporters like Beckel and O’Donnell.

omnipotent on May 21, 2009 at 6:16 PM
I really think the outrage Beckel and the rest showed is feigned. They can’t really argue any of the points he made and not prop him up as credible. With the last 8 years of the media calling him Darth Cheney the only way he loses credibility is if the MSM, which they ALL did, goes outrageous on him and call him a liar ad nauseum.
If anyone else other than Cheney makes this speech, nothing like this happens.
I say this because Beckel was making no sense. Beckel called Cheney a liar because he claimed that he saved a plot in LA, and that Cheney should produce the evidence. Cheney did exactly that and demanded Obama to release the memos. I felt like I was taking crazy pills, but then it made sense. Beckel was hoping the audience didn’t really pay attention and if they didn’t Beckel came off as credible. But if you listened to the whole speech you knew Beckel had lost his mind.

Time for a song:
Words & music by stephen duffy & steven page
Alcohol, my permanent accessory
Alcohol, a party-time necessity
Alchool, alternative to feeling like yourself
O alcohol, I still drink to your health
I love you more than I did the week before
I discovered alcohol
Forget the caffe latte, screw the raspberry iced tea
A malibu and coke for you, a g&t for me
Alcohol, your songs resolve like
My life never will
When someone else is picking up the bill
I love you more than I did the week before
I discovered alcohol
O alcohol, would you please forgive me?
For while I cannot love myself
Ill use something else
I thought that alcohol was just for those with
Nothing else to do
I thought that drinking just to get drunk
Was a waste of precious booze
But now I know that theres a time
And theres a place where I can choose
To walk the fine line between
Self-control and self-abuse
I love you more than I did the week before
I discovered alcohol
Would you please ignore that you
Found me on the floor
Trying on your camisole?
O alcohol, would you please forgive me?
For while I cannot love myself
Ill use something else.
Would you please forgive me
Would you please forgive me
