I find Bloomberg’s remarks in the video ironic, given his downplaying of the threat of terrorisim. Which is it? Don’t worry, or be vigilant?

I don’t object to the DHS memo in theory- after all, crackpots of such a sort may be far outnumbered by many others, but they are still around- but the broad and ludicrously discriminatory phrasing would NEVER be tolerated on other issues, and should not be allowed here.

Yes, it is true that none on the list were responsible, but some on the list have hindered our ability to stop similar threats from happening.
